I am a 70'S and the earliest English popular song I heard in my life is the songs of Carpenters. Yesterday Once More , is the song that I rememeber deeply in my mind as time passed. “When I was young I'd listen to the radio, waiting for the favorite songs. When they played I'd sing along,it make me smile. Those were such happy times and not so long ago.How I wondered where they'd gone. But they're back again like a long lost friend. All the songs I love so well. Every shalala every Wo'wo still shines. Every shing-a-ling-a-ling that they'r starting to sing so fine....." Every time I sing it lightly , tears almost come into to my eyes. It is really a good song moving me very much. Every one may be moved by it though it is not certainly the same past events they recollected in their mind at the very moment hearing this song. The melody is so beautiful, the rhythm is so smooth, the song is sang so well by Carpenters. It is really classic and never out in my mind. Dear friend, can you share with me the favorite song you love?

I never heard of Carpenters. I better do some googling about it. Some songs that I love are: Good bye from Air Supply Fist Love (Nikka Costa) Boulevard (Dan Byrd) All out of Love (Air Supply) Eternal Flames Nothing's Gonna Change My Love for You (George Benson) True Colours (Phil Collins) Do you know those songs?
