How long do you usually spend on the way go to work and back home?

Ah, it is nearly 18:00PM Beijing time now. We will be off work and can go home. But thinking about the time I will have to spend on the way back home, it seems not so excited for me now. I will have to spend about 20 minutes including walking to the metro station+ taking the metro+ walking to the Estate Shuttle bus, then over an hour sitting in the bus on the road before I get home. And the worse is, we often meet traffic jam on way out of downtown. Oh, forgot to tell that, I am living in suburn area.
I need to spend 40-50 minutes on the way to office in the morning since the bus will go through in different route and the transportation better in the morning than in the evening.
Hi my friends, how long do you spend on the way to go to work and back home?

Me, i have to allot 30 minutes for travelling to the office as well as in going home.
Though, had it not been that the bridge is being repaired on one of the usual routes of our public transport it is only 20 minutes ride to the office, for travel time in the morning. It's a shorter route than that i take in going home in the evening.
I feel sorry for you my friend, that you have to take that much time for your travel time to and from the office. Had i been in your shoes, i could have chosen another job, nearer home.

Dear my friend, thank you for your kind response to my post! So glad to hear that you need to spend much less time than I do for go to work and back home. Your time is with much more efficiency ratio than mine. Change my work? Maybe some day but not now. If I change my work, not because of the time I need to spend on the way, but the other reason. If I love my job, I will not quite just for the reason of the time need to spend on way.

I'm spending four times the amount of time you spend to and from home and work (4 hours minimum). Actually, it would only take me about two hours in total for both ways. but because of the heavy traffic here in our country, that time was double. Therefore, in every day of my life, i was wasting two hours at least.
