This is a Big One!A massive One!Four months ago I had heart surgery-A QUADRUPLE BYPASS!
How do I feel?I'm in reasonably good shape NO,I'm actually in good shape.I say this because I don't know how people, who have had heart surgery, should feel, that is,besides being very grateful to my creator for giving me A SECOND CHANCE.And I am given this chance at 65 years old.So, what do you do with this second chance?Any thoughts?Do I just enjoy these life moments,or do I do something daringly outrageous, boyishly silly, amazingly courageous? Why the second chance?Should I go discover another planet, grow my hair, become a spiritual guru?Where are the answers? Will my Creator be annoyed by all these questions?SECOND CHANCES,HAVE YOU HAD ONE?

While I have never had major surgery, I can only imagine being given a second chance of living can be very relieving. If I had surgery, I would probably cherish life more, and not too take the little things for granted. As far as we know, we have one life to live and we shouldn't squander any minute of it. Although life has its ups and downs, it all comes down to how you perceive it. It is up to you to make the best of your life. Everyone has some struggles in their lives, which some might have more to bear than others; however, looking forward to the future can motivate you to do great things if you truly desire it. Looking back at my life, I wish I had second chances on some past decisions, but all I can do is keep my head up high and look forward.

There is relief. The future does seem brighter.Don't know if you heard this one--"Walk tall, walk sraight,Look the world right in the eye."Looking back is ok, as long as we do not make the same mistakes of the past.Walk Tall Otanetix.

That is one great second chance you got there and you shouldn't be wasting it anytime soon. Take good care of your heart and stay happy. Don't let anything worry you or stress you out. You should be very thankful about. I bet you're really lucky and blessed to get a second chance at life and not a lot get that second chance. Treasure it and cherish it. I guess, you'd better spend more time with your family and friends, go see the world and do things you've always wanted to do, just as long as you won't stress your heart out. Congratulations and stay happy and alive! Cheers!!!

Wow! Congratulations for another shot at life!
I haven't really experienced that yet but if i had, I'd probably be drafting my last will and testament just in case God decides to change His mind again.
Honestly, I would love to spend each and every single time with my love ones and not waste any moment with petty arguments with them. I would seek forgiveness to those I have hurt and mend some fences that was broken. And after all of that I think I owe it to myself to enjoy life to the fullest by travelling with my family.

Thanks.I am definitely going to make a list of all the people I need to seek forgiveness from and people that I need to forgive.I don't have much in the way of material things so my last will and testament would probably look like this..."I leave my youth to the young,my wisdom to those who seek it,my age to those who seek to grow old gracefully and smiles and laughter to all aspiring clowns,"Travel-I really would love to ski in Switzerland. And when HE does change HIS mind let it be snowing.

Your creator were your mom. I find it sad to hear you needed a second change. I wonder why you call it a second chance. Was the first chance not good enough? Since you are 65 now.. are you able to do things over, better? You should have gathered a lot of life experiences, weren't they enough to chance, to find the courage to make something out of your life? I also wonder what you will do or thought (or what others think) if they have that (or a new) chance at the age of 75, 85, 95.. is it a crime to die? To admit there is an end for all of us? Do we all really want to live forever?
I don't need a second chance, I already find life hard enough, I did a lot many people would not do or approve and paid many prices for that. I don't feel the need to live forever, became way older as I ever thought I would be. It's fine this way.

You are one lucky soul! You must have done something good. If I were in your shoes, I would ask myself, "Why God gave me a second life?" Maybe I have a mission that I must accomplish.Maybe God wants me to do something and I would find that one out.

It is nice to know that you are feeling okay after the surgery that you have undergone. The second chance that I had was kinda personal. But to make the story short, I try to live my life differently and is still hoping that the future would be a lot more brighter.
