While ago when I went down from the tricycle then straight ahead to the stairs of Metropoint around 7:30 in the morning, I was shocked again that it is early but there were long lines again for going up to the station and down from there. It is crowded again and thinking that this is another reason why I am disappointed or riding MRT because of the rush hour and I can't take the crowd anymore during rush hour. But when I reached the upstairs near elevator I've heard some announcement that LRT is closed and people won't be able to use that for ride, until it was announced loudly using the megaphone. Then when I reached the station good thing I can enter without the crowd. Of course I am wondering how come LRT is stranded again and good thing I am not using that.
When I came home I saw the headline in TV Patrol that there was a woman who have committed suicide at the LRT station of EDSA Taft Station. I was totally shocked and realized that is why it was crowded while ago and people can no longer use the LRT. She just jumped into the rails like jumping into the swimming pool when the LRT itself came making sure that she would be hit by the train to die. It was seen on the CCTV. However I am still wondering why would they still file a case to the driver of the train which is reckless and imprudent resulting homicide, if first of all that is accident and can't be easily seen, second isn't that he can't just break it in? Even if he breaks then the train won't just stop right away? To prevent that accident? I find it pity for the driver who is just working hard to earn then it will came to a point that he will be jailed just because of a depressed woman.
I just hope that people who committed suicide must do it privately rather than using the public transportation to kill themselves then it will came to a point that some people will be affected of what they did. Yeah it cause traffic as well and hassle for those who are going to work and school.
Though I still pity for them because they have chosen to end their lives due to their deep depression in life.

I pity the Driver of the LRT! it's basically not his freaking fault! and some one should bail him. how the heck is he going to know that some one would ridiculously jump into the rail and get hit like that. am sure the driver tried to pull on the breaks even though he's on a slow down to the station anyways.
I think the blame should be on the SECURITY GUARDS we were supposed to guard the women's lane there.

As I could see on the hidden camera there was a guard who is roaming around but then while he is roaming around when the LRT came that is the time that the woman just jump into the rails. It is not also easy for the guards to determine of who is a suspicious person who will do something wrong.

We have the same sentiments about the incident. I feel so sorry for both the woman that jumped on the rail and for the driver. Both were just victims. I hope they would find justice to the driver. It is clearly not his fault if he accidentally hit the woman.

Since this is a train of course he could not break that just like that same as the jeep or other transportation that can be drive on streets. If he breaks then he ruins the passengers as well.

It makes me sick when I've heard that the family of the deceased will file a case against this train operator.
