For me, I have enjoyed anime since I was little, which also helped me develop an interest for manga. As we grow older, our interests can shift. For instance, as a child, I remember playing with Power Ranger action figures, but I have long outgrown that phase in my life. While I hope I don't outgrow anime/manga, life can be very unexpected. Is there a point where you think you will outgrow your interest for anime/manga?

Well, when I was little, I have watched a lot animations. But I couldn't tell which one is anime. The infos abt anime and manga usually came from my classmates. After I learned 2 use computer and internet, more infos flowed 2 me. And the concepts kind of formed gradually in my head. Now I'm a grown-up, and still can't live without anime or manga. Maybe it's becuz they contains a unique Japanese culture, which attracts me most.

Yes, I understand how you feel. Japanese culture has also affected my life. Currently, I feel as though I cannot live with anime and manga. For me, if it were not for anime and manga, I would not have made the friends that I cherish even up to this day. Anime and manga has motivated me to learn various things about Japanese culture. So far, I still want to learn more about Japanese culture.

YOu're never too old for anime and manga if you find a story you're interested in. Many adults like classic Disney. Anime is the same way, anyone of any age can watch it. There's something for anyone of any age and any genre.

The only anime I watch now is Sailor Moon. I know the show is like super old, but that Tuxedo Mask is just so captivating that I can't stay away lol. That was about the only series that I really feel is worth going back and watching so that's what I've been doing for the past few months. Since I only watch one I think it's safe to say that I have pretty much outgrown anime already. I wanted to get back into the show Card Captors, but it's been so long since I've seen it I don't think it will hold my interest too long. Since you mentioned power rangers I think I'll add that to my list of things to do on the weekends is watch all the different series over again from start to finish.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll remember to make a note of it and see if I can find the episodes of the show online somewhere. Now that I think about it I also use to love the show digimon as well. I don't know if that qualifies as anime or not. I did find that the video games on various consoles regarding the show ended up being really good. I logged in many hours each night on the game playing digimon and some other card battling game.

I've been watching anime ever since I was 6 because of the mecha shows being shown in our local cable. And I'm already 21 and am still enjoying anime. As a matter of fact, I watch it more frequently nowadays compared to when I was younger. Also, I'm in college right now and I'm part of a student organization dedicated to anime and manga. Aside from the events they host in school, they also hold an annual anime convention in our country. So I can say that you're really never too old for anime and manga. The only difference, I suppose, is the quality of what you watch. I think I've outgrown Pokemon and Dragon Ball and other series geared towards children. I've also stopped watching some shoujo anime because I find them too cheesy or unrealistic. Will I eventually outgrow other anime? Maybe in 10 years? Maybe if I start working? I really don't know xD Anime is a broad genre. You can find anything enjoyable to watch regardless of your age.

Manga or anime never outgrow someone, because they have kinds of type for a wide age range. Anime/manga especially for kids consumption as well as anime/manga espcially for adult. Just look for it. Personally, in my 20th here I still enjoy Yotsuba! and Doraemon which are for kids.

I dont think you will ever be too old for anime , I enjoy watching them. Its true that we might out grow a certain phase of life but when it happen naturally you will not miss it because your mind is ready to move on . When I was a child also I really enjoy playing with dolls , teenager I hate doing school work in college I now enjoy doing my assignments.
I think I might only out grow my interest for anime when I am like 65 and rich enough to spend my days on cruise and enjoying the Caribbean sunset if you get my drift . My boyfriend also love watching anime he was the one who got me interested in watching them . I think change that happen naturally will be ok and leave us fulfill and ready for the next stage .

Well, I'm 35 years old and I've never outgrown anime and manga. My youngest brother is the same -and he's a doctor already!
I'm hooked on manga and anime because I love the art, the stories, the complexity of some of them, the depth and, consequently, the lessons they impart. Who would have thought that an old anime like Chibi Maruko-chan would be as profound as a new one like Fairy Tail?

For me I prefer to watch more on kids stuff rather than mature content. Most of the animes really brings meaning in real life. Although the target audience is for kids, I think the impact is more on the grownups. The most interesting part about anime is, it really pierce through your heart thinking about what is most valuable in life. I personally think age does not matter if you have the interest in a anime or other particular subject.
