It depend how and where Isaac is going to make its landfall in the next few hours, if does seem like Galveston is spared this time and will not be Hurricane Isaac entry point as it continue its land route. So if the condition and its travel path remain as predicted, I will say it is a good time to visit Galveston for any tourist. You can enjoy yourself in one of the most beautiful town in Texas along with the sunshine and warm temperature this time.

I think that as long as there are no hurricane reports you will be fine to visit Galveston Beach this weekend. I hope there will be warm and sunny weather there for you to enjoy. You might enjoy swimming in the sea and sitting on the beach afterwards. Good luck to you this weekend with visiting that lovely beach.

I think you should be diligent to see weather the storm of late is very worrying, so do not let your holiday brought sorrow.

Erm, I might be wrong (I'm not from those parts so haven't been reading too much on it) but the hurricane hit Louisiana and isn't really supposed to affect TX right? I reckon if you check just check the weather you'll get an accurate forecast.
