I have used paypal to purchase items online, like some online stores, even ebay. I don't have any charges when I do. The only time you get to have charges is when you transfer your funds on your bank account or on your linked credit card. I haven't used my paypal though as a seller, so I'm not sure if they also have charges on fund transfers, but I think they also do.

As far as I know online purchase needs only a credit card. So as you already have a credit card, why do you want to use paypal instead of your credit card when you are not sure of its consequences?

Paypal works really well. I have been using it for years.
There is no charge when you buy something so long as you have money in your account or a verified credit card or bank account.
If you earn money online like at Neobux then they pass on the charge that Paypal makes to Neobux. For a $10 payout it is about 20 cents so not much to pay.
Other sites like Mylot charge nothing and the full Paypal amount goes through to your account.

i never tried using paypal in purchasing item online, never had the guts to do it. I am just saving all my money earnings in paypal, then transfer it to my bank account and withdraw it if needed. :) I guess you can try paypal purchasing, there is always a first time for everything.
