We do 4 years ago I went out and bought a table cloth for the Thanksgiving table. And every year we use a diffrent marker and write what we are Thankful for. I thought it was a way to have someone always with us, if they couldn't make it our they passed away. Insead of missing them at Thanksgiving they would still be with us.
Anyone else have one?

That is such a neet idea. I don't have to do any cooking here at my house. we do the Thanksgiving dinner at my mother in-laws house every year. The kids get to help make some of the easy food and they have a great time doing it. Just the other day my oldest son helpped make the pies. Of course he's only 6 so he did the mixing and rolling of the dough. Every year i bring the eggs. My husband wants me do cook one of these years but it's hard right now with 4 little children running around here.

I really like that idea. That tablecloth is going to be so precious as the years go by. How are you protecting it? They sell clear plastic tableclothes that you could put on top of it. I hope you don't get any bad stains on it. Well if you do that will add to the charm of it and have a story on its own. haha. Happy Thanksgiving. I am cooking his year, usually we go out to dinner.
