I have a department named, "wallstreets" in my college which I had interest to go in. I had given a test an was called for further interaction but couldn't make it further. I am very poor as far as knowing the world is concerned ( from economics point of you). I have interest but never bothered to upgrade it.
I want people from this field to please let me know from a little basic what recession, inflation and other terms concerned with these topics mean. I will take it further but all I need is a first push. I feel ashamed that I do not know that a college student should know at the very least. But never the less there is no age to gain knowledge...

I'm sure someone else can explain it better than I. But don't ever feel ashamed for not knowing something. If you're actively trying to learn about it, then you have no reason to be embarrassed. It's the lack of wanting to learn that someone should be ashamed of.

Not exactly I would say that I do not want to learn. I love this subject by whatever I know about it though it may be far less by some one's expectation. The only guidance I am seeking is of where do I need to start with. How should I start.
It was kind of you to advice me such words. Thank you. Even I believe determination more than knowledge.
