These children are so sweet!

I was channel surfing when I saw an interview with a Taiwanese couple who are both celebrities. They teach their children the importance of gratitude, so they make it a habit to say "thank you" to each other. The mother shared that one time, when she said "thank you" to her daughter, she asked her mother, "Why do you have to say 'thank you' to me? I want to do this for you, and you know my love for you is unconditional." The child was probably not more than ten. This made the mother very proud. The celebrity couple also has a twelve-year-old son who is very thoughtful. Every time the mother is about to bend over to pick up something on the floor, the son would rush over to help her (the mother is pregnant so bending over is difficult). Aren't these children sweet?

They are really sweet children, I like sweet children. I teach my daughter the importance of gratitude, too. But I find she is really different from them. Every time she does something for me, I say "thank you" to her, and she replies" you are welcome", and I do something for her, she will say "thank you" to me, too. Once in a while, when I should say "thank you" but I forget, she will remind me:" mom, you don't say 'thank you' to me!"
A big difference.

Caopaopao, you're bringing up your daughter wonderfully. She knows how important it is to say thank you so it bothers her when someone fails to do so. You've got a good kid.:)

Haha, it's very kind of you to do so. I'm trying to make her wonderful. Have a nice day!

Hi cheerfulnuts. Wow, those children are really sweet. Their parents surely did a great job on raising their kids.

Yeah, they did a great job. Nowadays, it quite uncommon to see children with good manners. Some kids are even better at saying swear words than "thank you".

The practice of good manners and right conduct are practice in the home before and was carried in the school premises.I know it was still though in schools of today,
yet many do not apply it in everyday living. They do not know how to say thank you,
good morning, good afternoon, good evening and many good manners. They just passed you and could not even say excuse me from passing you out.The new trend of today is like calling you in phone and just say where is the person and no more thank you.
