Movies too dreadful to watch

So I have to admit to myself atleast, I'm not a connoisseur of films, I'll watch any old rubbish, but I do have some limits. Rather contentiously I'm sure, I cannot stand to watch ET,the whole syruppy sentimental mess just grates with me. At the other extreme there are the SAW films, which frankly are just an excuse to show horrific mutilations and death.

I won't watch SAW either. My sister and cousins all love those movies, but I have heard about them and seen short, creepy clips of them and NO WAY!!! would I ever watch something like that. That is NOT my idea of entertainment. I can think of a couple of movies that were really good, had a good message, but I NEVER EVER want to see again:
American History X
Slumdog Millionaire
Crash
Butterfly Effect
They are all either too depressing or too gory. But they have great messages/morals in them and are WORTH watching *but not again and again*. Happy mylotting!

I'd have to say the butterfly effect is worth watching just once, just because of the peculiar nature of what happens, but really if I want to be miserable I can think of much more entertaining ways f getting there.

Yeah, there are some movies that are just a waste of time. It's either, the story is no good or the acting is no good. They just want to make money. Sometimes i sit through a movie expecting it to get better, then in the end i just wasted more than an hour of my life.

I like ET and saw five and movies also related to those . The movies I hate more are the ones with Catholics trying to ruin young girls life . I watch this one the other day name The Magdalene sisters . Those were really dark times.

i like to watch saw movies. even it has some hard to watch scenes. but i am a fan of horror movies^^ i like to watch original stories. even for me some movies are just to watch one time. i dont like those too disgusting movies like chainsaw massacre and movies like that. i like saw movies cause its like a game people do. a really scary game. its like you want to see if they will win the game or not. but im happy this is just a movie^^

I'm not a movie expert/gourmand etc. either, and I usually see some positive things in the most cheesy movies, either (I mean, I'm 23, two days ago I saw Homeward Bound, and I was legit crying, not even sobbing, at the end, and of course this is not the most valuable movie ever... yet my boyfriend says it just isn't that good...), but there are some which I wander, like, "who the hell let this sh.t to be made into a movie?"... off the top of my head, most catastrophe horrors (I don't remember the title, but there was one about a big killer tiger on an island or beach... that was absolutely the most awful movie ever... bad actors, all clichés, unlikeable characters), Friends with Money with Jennifer Aniston (it was boring as hell and it didn't have any value to it, also it didn't have a proper arch... I don't even understand why it has 6 stars on IMDB), the modern remake of Dukes of Hazzaard (not even funny and awful)...
