What have been your favorite books of 2012? Not necessarily ones that have COME OUT in 2012, but in general out of the ones you've read? I'm sad/scared that 2012 is almost over! I have been keeping track of the books I've read this year, it's about 30! My favorite, personally, have been...
*James Frey's "My Friend Leonard"
*James Patterson's Women's Murder Club series (1-10)
*EL James "Fifty Shades of Grey" (the FIRST one was the only one I liked!)
*The Glass Castle (I forget the author)
*Kim Edward's "The Memory Keeper's Daughter"
*Janet Evanovich's "One for the Money"
Those are just to name a few of my favorites, SO FAR! I am currently reading one called "Sabotage Cafe" and it's very very good, so I will likely add that to my list of great books I read in 2012!
What are some good books that you have read in 2012, or ones that have come out in 2012? Have you read any on my list?
Happy reading!

I haven't read any new books lately. I've been reading a lot of Agatha Christie.. and I recently got into reading Murder She Wrote novels based on the TV show. They're all older.. but they've got my attention.

My favourite read this year has been the 50 Shades of Grey trilogy by E. L. James. Acturally, I found the trilogy got better as it went along. It wasn't great literature, but it was certainly a riveting read. It's given me a few ideas for discussions and articles as well, so I've made a few dollars on the back of it.

Hi there! There are a few books that I've read in 2012 that are pretty interesting. I do vary when it comes to genre. I don't really stick to one. But, when I usually start a series of books, I try to finish them first before moving to another book. I keep track of these books that I read on my Goodreads account and so far, I have read 27 books and my goal is to actually read 60 books this year. I know I'm far behind. But to share to you some of the books that have really made a mark in my year 2012 so far, here are a few of them.
-The Hunger Games Trilogy- I've read three books just this year even before the movie came out and I really liked them. Hunger Games and Mockingjay are the best for me in the whole trilogy.
-Nikki Heat Series - So far, there are three books in the series and these books are actually based on a fictional character from a fictional book in the TV show CASTLE. The show had really been the reason why I got into reading these three books.
-The Temperance Brennan Books - books written by Kathy Reichs, from which the character Dr. Temperance Brennan of Bones was loosely based from. I'm actually reading her eighth book called Cross Bones and I'm loving it.
- Anna and the French Kiss - a chick lit that actually made me feel young and in love with the whole plot.
Hoping to read more.

For these year 2012 I promised myself that I will only read 15 books compared to last year's 104 books. Its totally exhausting when I do that. Anyway, I'm way passed my target 15 books I'm on my 18th, so much for promising myself. LOL. For these year's favorite I have:
1. Along for the Ride by Sarrah Dessen
2. Variant by Robison Wells
3. Hollowmen by Amanda Hocking
4. I've got your number by Sophie Kinsella
5. Hallowed by Cynthia hand
6. Obsidian
7. The Casual Vacancy - JK. Rowling - Which is I am currently reading.
I have read the Fifty Shades of Grey but I personally don't like it.
