Arsene wenger are interested with Essien

Essien, one of the stars of Chelsea is linked with Arsenal..
in Roberto Di Matteo era, he never get many chance playing...
It is sad when he is one of the key player in Mourinho era in Chelsea..
Arsenal under Wenger said that they are really interested with the Ghana footballer when they lost Alex Song..
Iam not sure if Essien will be back like his golden era.
Now he is getting older and older...
but of course he is still one of the best holding midfielder in EPL...
What do you think about Essien?? Does he deserve playing to Chelsea or maybe it is good decision from Chelsea management sell him even to their rivaly??

Michael Essien is one of the best signings that Chelsea has ever made. At his prime, he was the midfield dynamo of the well oiled Chelsea machine of the Mourinho era. He is 30 and he has been unlucky with his frequent injuries. He is fit now and is good to have in the squad but with new players coming in, his position in the team now is more as a cover.
Michael Essien himself may want to play in his remaining few years in top flight football. So he may want to join another team to play instead of sitting on the bench for Chelsea. If they have a choice, Chelsea surely won't want to sell to their London rivals but they did sell Yossi Benayoun to Arsenal before.

where is Yosi Benayoun now??i think he is arsenal player..why do you say that he is chelsea player??
Well done ..Essien is one of the best in Chelsea success..He with Frank Lampard, Drogba and Terry really helps so much Chelsea..But now Di Matteo forgot him...

Yossi Benayoun is a Chelsea player. He was sent out on loan to Arsenal last season. This season he will be playing for West Ham on loan too.
Di Matteo has not forgotten Essien. He was an used substitute in the three EPL games played. Now that Essien has secured a loan move to Real Madrid to rejoin his old mentor for a complete season, I hope he could help Real Madrid to regain the La Liga crown.

I would be very happy if Arsene Wenger signs Essien. Essien would bring meat to the Arsenal's midfield which has really been missing ever since Patrick Viera's departure. Though the likes of Flamini and Song have played this role effectively for one season, they have left the next season. So bringing in a proven player like Essien would be a great move for Arsenal.

Yes Arsenal with Arsene Wenger before trasnfer mangatakan that they will bring in close to Emirates Stadium Essien but apparently that did not happen because Essien prefers Real Madrid. This is a blow for Arsene Wenger in as they seek a replacement for Alex Song but his successor failed to arrive. yes indeed Essien is getting older but as a quarterback he's still pretty good. I think Essien is a good quarterback in the affairs of attack but also good in terms of keeping the depth of the defense. Maybe if Chelsea sell Essien to their rivals in the Champions League it is the wrong thing.

Essien would have been a very good signing for Arsenal. he would not get much playing time at chelsea . arsenal needs someone with experience and ability rather than a newcomer to control song's position.
