Hello all mylotters how are you? I have a serious problem with thinking too much. Sometimes it can get me into trouble. Now I have not been in any legal trouble it is just that when I think to much it can sometimes make me angry. Then my loved ones end up getting hurt because they see that I am angry and they become sad by it. I am not sure how to really shutdown my thinking process.
As well because of my thinking process I also do not get much sleep. Which is really starting to affect me. Everyone needs sleep cause it is a vital part of being healthy. As well it is making me more depressed everyday. I really need something to help shutdown or at least slow down my thinking. Is there anything that anyone can suggest to help me stop or slow down my thinking process. Please let me know.

Worrying that much will have a negative effect in our health as well. Perhaps, I could suggest for you to find a hobby that you tend to forget things when doing this thing. Say, you might try singing, dancing, exercise or crafts maybe. We tend to think more if we are not doing anything.

When we think too much ,we will become negative with the time past, right?
After all ,we all in the face of many troubles and shoulder some responsibility,if nobody can understand us,we will be angry and feel grievance.
At frist,we should know why ,only find the reason, can we find the ways to solve it.
Then we can talk with our friends ,whatever you want to say, just find a person who you believe in ,tell him ,release our emotions.Or do something that you are interested in,such as reading, watching movies,or just for a walk.
Don't bury our head in the sand,as soon as we know who we are, what we want ,whicn life we want to live,we will be happy.

I know how you feel. I have been in that similar situation. That was the time I was always thinking how mad I am at one person and everything that reminds me of that person. It gave me sleepless nights and almost all of the time, I don't feel like talking or I get irritated easily.
Then one day, I just figured I couldn't go on like that forever. I was afraid I could have a nervous breakdown. So. slowly i learned to divert my attention to other stuff.
Try it yourself. If you think you can not do it, seek the help of a psychologist. I am sure the specialist could greatly help you.

Well, I think that you must relax your mind by exercising, going to the spa or you should do something that will make you busy.I am also like you that but I am doing something about like doing things that I like to do like writing and posting discussions here in mylot. You should not get into trouble because of that and as much as possible you should not affect your love ones with your situation because it may get worst. Then never forget to pray to God.

Hi there! Maybe it's not just the thinking too much part that you're having a problem with. Maybe, you're too anxious about the things that are happening to you. You just have to learn how to relax and let go. Give some time for yourself. Go travel and be with your family or go out with friends and have a good time. That way, you get to loosen up not think of those things that are bothering you. Also, have some green tea for relaxation and some milk before sleep to get you into a deep and comforting night sleep.I hope you'll be okay soon. just remember to relax okay?

Exercise will help. Vitamin B5 is very is helpful. You seem to be getting stressed out. This may be what is causing your brain to produce rapid fire thoughts. Yoga for relaxation and/or stress reduction would be very helpful to you. Also, there are Yoga breathing exercises that will help greatly. Here is a link on GABA, which is very good for relaxation www.suite101.com/article/gaba-the-brains-own-anti-anxiety-medication-a59854 Another link for herbs that will help is www.caroline.wrytestuff.com/swa294272.htm I hope some of this helps. You need to relax. Maybe you aren't eating properly. This can have a major effect on your nervous system. And drink plenty of water. Good luck.

Hi nerein! I think the real problem here is you're focused on negatives thoughts. Why not instead of thinking negative thoughts, you divert your atention to pleasant ones which could actually improve your mood and relationship with other people.
We know for a fact that when a person is in love, everything around that person is beatiful, right?!? Being in love always is a good thing. :D
I also beleive that prayers help in motivating us; as well as knowing the WOrd of GOd in a daily basis.
We all have the tendency to think evil, but we have the power to resist it! HAve a great day!!!
