Do you set yourself goals?

The only goal that I set for myself here is - to have FUN! I don't count anything. I don't see how many posts I have made, how many words or lines I have written or anything else. What I do notice though are the fun Lotters who enjoy back and forth exchanges and when I see them, that is where I land I don't like 'heavy' topics and mostly I avoid them but when I see that a conversation is possible then I stay put there. That is my only goal - to get distracted from offline stuff which isn't always fun

I have no goals! I just come in each day and see what I can bring to the community. This is bigger than my community in real life and I can contribute more here than I think I can in the outside world. So I do my best to show my heart here and make a few friends along the way, exchange thoughts or compliments as I see fit and hope I can make it a better community on myLot! That is much more fun than trying to count the letters and numbers.

hi inmyopinion i have not set goals and I sure as heck do not count any more as it slowed me down , gave me a headache, only earned pennies.so I slowed down to make really quality posts and just have fun here and enjoy myself. so then I saw I was earning three times as much for just having fun and enjoying myself. friendships motivate, seeing my earnings move up also motivates me and just knowing I am no longer a used up old hasbeen really motivates me.I hated being freshly retired so has made me so happy just being here.,

The only goal I have set on mylot is to participate in meaningful discussions. I generally respond to discussions that I find interesting. I do not really set any target on number of responses or discussion I will do. It is just great to know that I can earn some money while I am sharing my ideas with other members.

my goals in life determines my destination, i usually think of something creative that would make my day much better and to motivate myself that its good to live in this world. I often wonder why also why do people have such a goal that was not correlating to their day to day living, and yet some people thinks that they find to achieve their goals in life whenever they missed something important to them.

I've started not too long ago but I decided not to set myself certain goals on mylot. I just remember to spend my time here actively whenever I log in. I make sure to look at the discussions I'm interested in because it's in those that I know I can contribute and not sit and think about what to write or end up writing something pointless. I think that's how everyone else should treat this place. Sure, you can earn money but I think the whole point in this website is to earn money in a fun way. So above all make sure you're doing something enjoyable.

Sometimes, I'll set goals for myself. It's not always easy to do so, but I do try. For the most part, I just try to have some fun, read some posts, and such. Sometimes, I'll do more, but I'll try to at least do that.

I had a set goal before I had any idea how thing really work here , after I join I quick notice I had to make a more realistic goal . I soon realize that not all discussion interest me and I would not have much to say so its only possible for me to make like 10-15 respond a day .

This is one thing I have never done in my life - setting a goal. I tried setting a goal here in mylot but it is really hard for me to just comment on everything. I can not really say much about topics that I am not knowledgeable or I haven't experienced yet. So no matter how I tried to reach a specific numbers of post, I just can't especially on days that most posts are out of my interest.

i like to set goals and keep benchmarks and always work towards it ,its the best a person can get and move towards it ,because we know where we can go

I do set goals for myself and i just think that i feel so good after i found that we made it. Thus life is full of surprises and colorful things. I totally have the same opinions with you. So just good luck on mylot and waiting for the day that beats it.

I do set goals in everything! :) Especially now that I have a daily routine to follow! :) I spend more than 3 hours in myLot regularly. Actually, I just decided that because I have been inactive in the past few days! :) Setting some goals are important to make us motivated.

Yap! I also have such an idea in my mind regarding MyLot. But then, it sometimes it becomes a little hard to hit my daily targets as i slip into a busy session. However, i have noticed that if one wants to really earn here, he/she must set goals and try to hit them at all times.

While I am still fairly new to myLot, my goals are just to be as active as I can. If I start focusing on the number of posts I write per day, I will end up stressing myself out. Because each day I log on myLot, I cannot predict which discussions I can contribute my opinions. When I look at new discussions, I try to choose posting to ones that I can actually give some detailed opinion. I hate just putting one sentence as a response; so by avoiding just one sentence responses, I also practice my writing skills. Posting good, detailed responses is my first goal. Although I have not even been here for a month yet, I have realized that I have posted my opinion in categories I never thought I would post in. I am typically a nerdy guy, which means I have posted in categories like technology, robotics, anime, etc. From my own experience at myLot, I have posted in categories that I thought I would avoid. My second goal is just to find categories I did not think I could contribute my opinions and post my comments in them.

Hello inmyopinion, when I was new here as much as possible I count my response, discussion and photo post just to know if going to earn more but after a few months I got tired and quite busy in some online job and didn't notice the numbers of my response in every topics.Now I still have a goal here in myLot but not to count the numbers of my response but to participate here everyday just to exercise my hand, minds and to earn extra money.
