Are you tempted by sales?

Sometimes I got tempted to buy something that I don't need or use because it's on sale but instead of throwing it i keep it and give to some of my friends or family member as a gift during spacial occasions like Christmas and birthday! But as much as possible now I am trying my best not to buy thing that I do not need even if its sale to save money and buy only things that I need.

What did you buy? I really watch my money these days, so although I'm tempted to buy on sales, I think twice about what I put in the shopping cart. In my 20's I was more apt to buy things I wanted just because it was on sale AND I had that handy dandy plastic card . . . but no more! These days I might do that if it's a seriously good deal (like 75% or more off, which you know is rare), but otherwise, I tend to pass on other sales.

I used to when I was younger, but not so much anymore. I try to stay out of the stores and then I do not have that problem. It was awful when I worked at Wal Mart. They might as well have issued me a gift certificate instead of a pay check.

Yes I am tempted by sales , I like buying thing even when I dont need them because I always though one day ill find something to do with them. I guess we think alike because those are my exact thoughts . I have a shoe from last year still not sure when Ill wear it .

Absolutely! As long as I have the money I tend to do it quite often. It's not so bad when you buy something that you don't need right now but you feel that you may have use for it later. I sometimes buy things that I'll never use just because I think I'm getting a good deal. I bought this top a while back because it was 50% off. It wasn't even my style but the bargain was just too good to pass up at the time. Now it's been sitting in my closet for over 2 months with the tag still on it.
