What`s happen with Chelsea?? They play very badly..It make easier for Atletico Madrid and of course their star, Radamel Falcao..The second trophy for Atletico Madrid when they ever get it in 2010 after beating Inter Milan

Iam not sure what`s happen with Chelsea..They are under threaten since the minute 4..Atletico with Falcao get the assist..Bad to atletico, Falcao effort only hit the bar..
But minute 7, Falcao finish his duty....He gets through pass and he beat Petr Cech..atletico leads 1-0..Eden Hazard get the chance but his shooting is widely...(minute 13)...Chelsea is surprised again..Once again Falcao score goals and make his team leading 2-0..The superb goal make Cech like stupid goalkeeper..(minute 18)...
Cech plays good when he block the effort from Gabi...
Hit is the friend for Cech when he block the effort from Falcao minute 35..
But Falcao makes his hattrick in this game..Before end of the first half, he shoot and goal..Atletico 3- Chelsea 0...
Atletico didn`t reduce their attack level..And Miranda score the fourth goal by Miranda and Cech can`t save it..Atletico 4-Chelsea 0..
Cahill make consolation goal from corner kick..But it is the last goal...
Chelsea really plays badly..
The perfect plan for Diego Simeone..The perfect match too for Radamel Falcao..I just believe he will get many offer from the bigger club..
Why Chelsea gives so many spot for Radamel falcao tonight??
maybe John Terry can`t play make everything can`t be arranged well? But iam sure, the fast goal from Radamel Falcao (minute 7) break the full concentration of Chelsea squad..i really believe it..

With this master display in the match against Chelsea, Atletico Madrid seems to be ready to break the solid grip of the La Liga by both Real Madrid and Barcelona. They have the players and experience of defeating those 'bigger' teams in cup competitions. All they need is a strong squad of players that can go the distance of a whole season. But I am not sure if they have the money to buy and maintain a star studded squad. I am not sure if they could even hold on to Radamel Falcao when a 'crazy' offer comes to them.
I feel that the loss to Atletico Madrid is a good thing for Chelsea as it will wake them up that there are still a lot of work to do after their perfect starts to the new season. It will them make stronger as the season runs. It will make them prepare better when the ECL starts.
The European Super Cup is just a minor trophy, like the Charity Shield - it is nice to win, but a loss is not the end of the world. For Atletico Madrid, the Cup means more to them as it is the few ones that they could have the chance of winning in the season. For Chelsea, it is still the EPL and the ECL that determine the success and failure of a season. For Di Matteo, his continued appointment is based on his team's performance in EPL and ECL. He should concentrate his resource in that big two. Other cup games are just for giving playing time for his reserved players.

Whoever is in the game will want to win, just like the Charity Shield. The definition of 'minor' just to show the importance of that trophy to the club. No manager will get sacked because he lost the European Super Cup, even by a 1-4 scoreline.

Yes, I think Atletico Madrid deserves to win this match, we see that Atletico managed to beat Chelsea in midfield. They managed to take advantage of Radamel Falcao as a great goalscorer. This result is quite reasonable because during the match Atletico dominated the game.

I was actually stunned by the result. Looks like Chelsea has this soft belly and the matches for which the players are not really keyed up, they end up playing really badly. Last season too I saw this when in the Champions League they were playing really hard and putting in all the effort, during the same period they lost some pretty easy games in the premier league. So may be that is a problem with the team which Di Matteo needs to work on.
As far as Athletico is concerned it is a wonderful result and Falcao was the hero with his hat trick which was fantastic. I hope UEFA actually allows Europa League winner to go and play in the Champions League. That would really increase the importance of the tournament.

But you see most big clubs do not take Europa League seriously and don't play their best team. So if the incentive is increased to a Champions League spot, the matches would be more competitive. Also for the winner, there would be a big money option there as well.

he continues the good record from Sergio Aguerro for Atletico in European cup and Super European cup...
i bet someday he will moves to another bigger club..
iam not sure your suggestion about the European league winner plays in CHampions league...
FIFA and UEFA feel enough for giving chance for any European league for testing champions league by making the match Super European cup..

I have seen only the first half, but what Atletico did was fantastic, especially Falcao, the "Tiger", like his nickname says. He is one of the best strikers at the moment in the world, he has everything: speed, positioning, both of the legs are powerful, and he jumps very high. The second goal he has scored was practically the same with his first goal in the Europa League final. I think without the tremendous luck which Chelsea had last season, they are not so good and Atletico has demonstrated this.

in final of champions league, many people underestimate chelsea and make motivation for any Chelsea player to play more than their ability
in Super European cup, Chelsea is favourite

He hasn't played in the Champions League final neither. The only thing which has changed, was the huge amount of luck which Chelsea had. Nothing more, nothing less.

I can't believe this score could happen! they are very superior in EPL, but this game was very embarrasing them!! where is Hazard? where is Torres? Atletico deserve for the thropy and this is also prove that Europe league is not in deepest level compare Champion league. Falcao was awesome! congratulation, Atletico

yeah, you're right, adhyz, in football anything can happen, but still.... 4-1 is unbelieveable! moreover, it seems like Chelsea is in their peak performance. and once again, the winner of Europe league beat the winner of Champion league. This is fantastic result for Atletico.
Falcao should be hot topic in the next transfer market!

Falcao should find himself in Chelsea's wish list now. Last season Champions League victory is a fluke and Chelsea now find themselves in reality. Fact is their team is really not as good as they and many thinks they are. There are some new additions but they have neglected where there should be strengthening and that is defense.
