Would you do it? Nothing Personal, I just don't like having my father mushing things up on my electronics. I know for a fact that he doesn't break things, but it kind of drives me crazy that he wants to use my iPad for (other) purposes at midnight to listen to music as he goes asleep when I knowingly have to use it the next day in a course.

I think that you could communicate with your father on the table on this issue, and it will be of significance to ease your confusion.I know it is your privacy, never letting others invade it.But this your father, please kindly understand it.

Haha, I wish it was like that. I did take my father on a chat like that, but it really isn't the case. He just wants to use my iPad during the nighttime and I'm obviously irritated by it. He stopped earlier today, but I know that he wants to use my iPad because of how many electronics I currently hold including that iPad from a course in school

For me, it depends on who is borrowing my electronics. I have some friends and family members that I will absolutely not let borrow because of their track record of letting them use my electronics in the past. Some returned my electronics broken, more filthy than before, or covered in some sort of substance. For example, I let one of my cousins borrow my CD player one time and it was returned with chunks of jelly in the area where the CD should be placed. When I tried playing a CD after cleaning it, the CD player could not turn on anymore. I was so angry with her that I avoided her for rest of the family visit. Generally, when someone brings up the topic of wanting to borrow one of my electronics, I try to make up some excuses or switch the subject. Once you have one bad memory of letting someone borrow one of your electronic, you tend to be more protective of your stuff.

Absolutely.. I can't really imagine having the same idea of having chunks of jelly in my gadgets, but I totally understand; A few days ago I let a friend of mine borrow my pencil in class.. It wasn't the best but I knew he really needed it.. First thing he does with it? Chews near the eraser.. I guess he can keep that one.. :/

I have no problems with this one, I think I can live without it for 1/4 of the day. Further, I don't have skeletons in my closets nor do I have any secrets that nobody should know of. I think my partner is well capable of taking care of my stuff. But the question would be "what is he going to do with it the whole time?" hehe.. Perhaps he would find it puzzling too that I'd let him spend 1/4 of the day with my gadget. hehe.. Have a great mylot experience ahead!

Nobody borrows my electronics. My husband has his own laptop and iphone. Maybe because there's nothing interesting with my gadget. I am only using nokia c3.so there's nothing really special about it. He uses a smartphone , my husband is more techie than I am.
