Tonight brings back memories of that song as we are supposed to have a blue moon tonight. That means it's the second full moon in a month. I can't wait for it to peek out so I can see it....are you going to make an effort to see the blue moon tonight? It was beautiful last night too! Mother Nature in all her glory!

I missed it! I was going to check it out tonight but we have nothing but cloud cover so I doubt if I'll even get to see the moon at all. I love looking at it and used to take my father's binoculars when I was little just to see the craters and how cool it looked. The best moon's are in the Fall when they have a tiny bit of dark clouds across it...nice and spooky...love it!

Great song. I remember it well. Doubt I can see any moon at all tonight with all the trees around our house. Plus it's also raining which we desperately needed. Not suppose to stop raining for 2 more days so doubt I will be outside looking at the moon. Mother nature is absolutely amazing.

It's raining wild here in my town last night Jill
that's why I can't see the moon. But I make an effort
to look it.

Oh, I've missed it! I didn't know the meaning of the expression 'Once in a Blue Moon' or else I would have looked but now it is morning in London I am going to have to research this though as it is so interesting. Imagine my goingbthrough life not knowing this? I am wondering oif it will ever happen again in my life time now

Better have a look at the Blue Moon now, as the next one is in July 2015 - but don't get disappointed, it will most likely look the same as ordinary full moons, but it is the second full moon this month!
The moon can actually appear blue, but if there is a volcano eruption near and a high concentration of stuff from it in the atmosphere.
