Hi everyone,
I'm going to be visiting New Zealand in November for 15 days. I'm going to probably split it between the north and south islands. Has anyone here been there already? And do you have any good suggestions on places to visit? They can be tourist things, or not.
Also, what are some suggestions for things to do in Wellington? I'll be there 4 days. Other than that it is wide open.
Thanks!

I loved visiting beautiful New Zealand when I was 29 years old. I suggest you spend a couple of days in Wellington then get the ferry to Picton. There is a train to Christchurch where you could spend a couple of days. There you might like to ride on the old tram. I can suggest taking the train to Grey Mouth past very beautiful landscapes. My favorite was Nelson and then the Abel Tasman Walkway. I enjoyed seeing the wildlife including penguins on the coastline south of Christchurch. On the North Island I loved seeing the North Land and the Coromandel Peninsula. I found it fun in Rotorua with the thermal activity going on underneath. There is a train that goes from Wellington to Auckland. Good luck planning your trip.

Wow, I really want to go there, see the New Zealand up close and interact with the residents there. Certainly a very pleasant thing. Maybe one day I will go there. I do not know any place that apatut visit, because I never go there. But I've heard of a wool-producing farms, whether it be in there?
