Karen Vaughn, mother of fallen Navy Seal of Aaron Carson Vaughn, reacts to Barack Obama's campaign ad "One Chance." Karen and Billy Vaughn lost their son Aaron last year in Afghanistan. View this ad and tell me Obama is IN TOUCH with America. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E1x-5pCSI84&feature=share It truly is, in Obama's mind, all about HIM.

Poor choice of words? Both republican and democrat parties are equally guilty of doing this. The republican governor of Missouri called anyone unemployed presently or in the past "lazy, Xbox players sitting around for the phone to ring. They should take 2 or three jobs, be willing to move, do anything other than dreaming of that perfect job" There are no words for a parent who's lost a child. Anything said to them would almost always be inappropriate.

yes, politicians do have to choose their words carefully, especialy in our politically correct world where what could be said in a normal conversation between friends is blown totally out of proportion if said to a camera. The only words I could say to a parent who has lost a child is, I love you, I am here for you. Obama can't necessarily say that to each and every parent who's lost a son/daughter in the war, but he COULD show that when he makes decisions on such a scale, he at least thinks about how it will effect those he's sending to risk their lives, not that HE may look bad.

Obama doesn't have a clue what's going on in America. He never has and he doesn't care to find out because then he would have to address some of it.

He's a narcissist with serious issues That comment could be use toward a lot of politicans. Bill Clinton, Newt Gingrich,Lindsey Graham (to name just a small few), heck put a she instead of a he and it be great for Pelosi. Narcissists love power...politics is power so they flock to the job on both sides and on the federal and state level.

http://accuracyinpolitics.blogspot.com/2012/09/obamas-orders-of-rules-of-engagement.html Apparently this is the mother of one of the 30 Navy Seals killed in a helicopter shot down in Afghanistan due to Pres. Obama's bragging about the bin Laden take down.

Frankly, I don't give a crap whether he's "in touch" with America or not. Right now we need someone who knows finance and politics and Romney qualifies for both. I don't want to like my president, I don't care what his hobbies are or if he was poor or born with a silver spoon. I care about what he or she can do for this country and what I think of him personally has nothing to do with that performance. Why the hell should people care if their president is likeable or "in touch"?! Jimmy Carter was everything this type of person could want and look at what he did to us. I wish someone would take America by its collective shoulders and shake it out of its celebrity culture and need for touchy-feely everything. Until then we won't get the government we need on any level.

Honestly, I agree with Clinton. If the raid on Bin Laden had gone wrong, and the troops were captured or killed, then it would show that Obama had done a terrible thing, and he got those people killed or captured. It would have been horrible for everyone. It would have been horrible for the people who were behind that raid, it would have been horrible for every single person that ever knew each one of those people, it would have been horrible for all members of the military that were working on that raid, and it would have been horrible for Obama, the person who put his seal of approval on it. Clinton was talking directly about where Obama is in the direction, and I'm sure he would agree how it would have been terrible for everyone, but that wasn't what he was talking about. However, Obama did authorize that raid, and with it, the American's killed the man who was their number one enemy ever since 2001 with the attack in New York. George Bush, the republican before him, on the other hand, sent so many troops into Iraq, which only served to capture their money and oil, and had so many soldiers die in the war, and spent an insanely huge amount of money on the projects. And what did it get him? His choices lead to so many deaths, and political corruption, but you're saying that Obama did something bad, in actually going after the principal enemy of the American people? I'd like to see any of the troops who were on that mission, just a single one, say that it was crazy, or evil, or wrong, that they were sent into Bin Laden's compound. I highly doubt any of them were against it. I would expect every soldier and every person involved, to be extremely proud that they had a hand in killing the man who actually brought such terror onto every single American citizen, and so many people from around the world.

Obama didn't push for an earlier pull out, that is one reason why some military folks are unhappy. He has done more than Bish ever did though. Romney has not proven he is for the military. He didn't even talk about them until he was called put on it. At least Obama is trying to end the mess lying Bush put in place.

Except people were saying that from the get go. It was all about the oil and that 9/11 was his excuse to go over there. They could have done in Saddam a long time before they did and someone was not letting the snipers do their job As far as the WMD there weren't any because there was 0 evidence they were there. I don't recall the news stories work for word, but this entire affair from start to finish has been built on lies.

How can anyone say that Mitt is out if touch?! If anyone is it's the one in the white house now. Yes we can. YES we can! Well what has he done except make us more dependent on the government?

Basically, it is Bill Clinton extolling Obama's risk in taking down bin Laden, he says that Obama had much to loose if it failed and men were killed.

I watched it. I thought about it. I have decided that if every American would see things through the eyes of this father and mother... His little message to Clint Eastwood, "This seat is taken" says he really is concerned about nothing more than his agenda.

I reminded him by tweet that it was GIVEN to him and can be TAKEN BACK. I'm patiently awaiting the secret service to knock on my door.
