Would you ever want to meet a doctor like House?

Would you want to have an appointment at a doctor who clearly resembles House?Would you be willing to prefer accurate treatment above good human interaction?I think many of the "House" series will want to become like him.Ironic,but with sense,and of course brilliant in the Medicine department.
So,I don't think this question is totally out of hand.I would personally want to be treated like a doctor like him,because he will have all the possible know-how for dealing with a particular illness.And I would choose this above empathy.
How about you?Would you like to be treated OK,but with poor good communication?Do you think the patient-doctor relationship should be viewed as from individual to individual?

I would want Dr House to treat me, if everyone else couldn't figure out what is wrong with me. Dr House can make you tell him exactly what you ate and drank even when you shouldn't drink or eat it. Some doctors just make it easy to just say part of what you consumed. We all know Dr House had difficult patients that weren't honest all the time.

Personally in my lifetime, I have dealt with many different doctors of all realms. Many of them were quite caring and would listen, while there were a choice few who often just continued to always find fault and blame me for everything. And then wonder why I left there feeling worse and upset. Personally I think when a Doctor has a good bedside manner and willing to talk and listen they often help make a patients life so much more worthwhile.

Yes, I would love to meet a doctor like House. He would give it to me straight, and I like doctors who tell me the truth instead of giving me the run around. I want the truth from my doctor. I don't want my doctor to lie to me because he is doing me no service if he doesn't tell me the truth. I choose the truth over empathy.

First off to be treated by House would mean that it would have to be a really terrible illness, with difficult diagnoses. So that would make him the last chance, but I do prefer doctors like Wilson, Foreman or Chase, who not have the knowledge and know how but compassion and understanding too. I don't think being honest has to be so aggressive, the truth can be told in an understanding manner. But that it was a great character to watch, that he is.

I don't think I would enjoy being treated by a doctor like House. He's so rude and has no manners at all. I'd prefer a polite doctor. At least, if I don't get better, I'd die happy.
