Between man and animal? :(

hi RSantos, All creatures has purpose and have the rights to live their lives It's sad that some people do cruelty to animals sometimes we can't blame animals to protect themselves it's either they are hurt or they been tease. I am sad seeing animal cruelty I am a pet owner since I am a child and I never treat my pet or other animals in such way. hope some people have hearts for them, in our country there is a law about animal cruelty happy mylotting

That is a bad situation and its sad for everyone in that news . If I was the man and a dog ite my mother I would have probably do the same thing or worse . I love dogs and I dont support cruelty but in that case that is just defense . The dog could have killed his mother , the owner of the dog should not have let the dog out because he is a kind of dog like that . I dont like pets that attack other people, and people should be aware of how their pet is.

What I think, people who can't take care of their pets, don't go for it. Why we do it, as we like them and they are not coming to us asking for their shelter or help. We only bring them somewhere and feeding, loving and caring. If they do some mistakes, we are responsible for it. I had several instances with our pets and we should know how the behaviour of our pets and accordingly treat them and not supposed to kill. It is so cruel and we, the human beings are the great because we have the full rights to do anything. So pity and shame on him, who did it.

how cruel man why they not understand animal is also like human being they cant talk but they can feel everything like us. If I will be there I want to annoy on the person who are doing this but in TV then impossible.

by that situation i say that the dog was brutally hit by the men's mother but its not an excuse to put cruelty in animals because they have also protected by the law. In other way around i can't blame the men because it happen if he do that because of anger of what happen to his mother.

Yeah I think you were telling about the Deped employee who had done this. They are claiming it was because the dog bit one of their relatives that resulted to battering the dog. I think both sides have some fault in the case, the beater should not have done that to the dog instead he should observe it if it would show the dog has symptoms of rabies infection. The owner of the dog should also be responsible in keeping their pets secured where it could not harm others.

I think it hangs on when the dog bit the man's mother. Was he protecting her at the time?

That dog is not a victim of cruelty, it started the attack, i don't see there is any other way for the man to avoid from hitting it, his smash may well save his life from his attacker as in this case, a super aggressive dog. The owner of the dog should be held responsible for her pet aggression on him, she shouldn't let it go outside without any leash and bite proof device on it and without her presence. If all the dog owners can begin to behave intelligently, and act responsibly, then dog bite on innocent people will not have happen. But unfortunately, this stupid dog owner just let her super aggressive dog roaming freely outside without any restrain, it is going to bite anyone it came into contact on the public street. She need to be charged in court for her rentless behavior and force to attend animal owner training class to learn the proper way to keep a dog and not letting it run wild outside her house. Any one will react in that man way if he/she is in his shoes and fighting for his life from a vicious dog attack. may be that dog should be euthanized immediately due to its super aggressive behavior.

This is really sad. I don't like seeing any animal cruelty- it breaks my heart. Sometimes it is better they are killed in one blow than to make them suffer. Animals also have feelings- they feel pain and seeing them in pain is too painful to bear.

I think that who ever did that to the dog should be fined and be asked to do community service in an animal shelter.

If the dog attacks the man's mother, then they have the right to defend themselves. It's the owners responsibility to insure that their dog won't hurt anybody. A dog is always a dog, they will never think like human do. I feel sorry for the dog but I would rather not see a person being hurt than a dog who attacks got hurt.

Hi- All things and living in this world have a purpose we might not get it in our act or thoughts that man who hit the dog might not control of his temp or just he love violent or not love do like of suffering and hurting others just like the dog he hit and he could not control between himself and now we our self as human do have some of that kind of attitude but we need to control and get overcome with it these could be beneficial in us but it could hurt someone make it bad. now of what happened to his mother could be the result of the nature all we do have a consequence lesson learned in that we must do control our emotions not just like what we love and don'ts but also we must think of what we act and do in life it could be simple but have a very big impact to others.

Thee is not enough information to make an answer to this discussion. Did the dog attack the Mother, was the dog injured by the man defending his Mother. Did the man later attack the dog, after it injured his Mother? One thng is clear the dog was in the wrong place should have been contained by it's owner. I love dogs, but if one attacked a human, I would do what I could to drive the dog away, even kill it if nexessary.
