Responsibility of the child to the parent

Our parents suffered a lot when we were young, your happy day was their happy days and your sad days was their sad days. They did all they could to make you today how you are. Now they are old, Our duty now is to also take proper care for them. Lets always try up to our last effort to always make our parents happy. Even though they are old, we still need their support. That is their blessings and if they are not happy about us, they wont bless us before they die. So lets all try to always make our parent happy all the time.

I have given my parents a lot of heartaches when I was younger and I try to show them how much they mean to me and how much I appreciate their love and concern to me and to my kids.

you are a treasure to your parents. i admire children who honor their parents particularly in their twilight years. though it is parents' duty to provide their children's needs and ensure a bright future for them yet children who recognizes their parents sacrifices are more laudable.

You are right, it's our responsibility to make our parent happy till the end of their life. I made a big mistake in my life because I'm staying away from my parent even though I have no problem staying with them. I'm now trying to plan my daily activity and career so that I can stay with my mom after my father pass away October 2011.
