Wishy - washy, Dilly - dally

I couldn't find the meaning of those words in my dictionary. Please explain the words to me.

I don't think you'll find them in the dictionary because they are slang words in a way. I'm not completely sure of the meaning of 'wishy-washy' but I have heard it before. 'Dilly-dally' means to be pre-occupied when you're supposed to be doing something else. For instance, if your family was leaving on a trip and you were supposed to be in the car already but you were upstairs trying to make sure you packed everything, your mother might say "you need to stop dilly-dallying and get in the car"! I hope that explanation was helpful!
