School Paddling

I personally wouldn't allow it, not that I personally condone physical punishment of any kind. I definitely agree that if spanking is going to be done it should be done by the parent because it is supposed to be out of love. A school official does not know your child well enough to spank them.

I personally don't think the teacher has that right. She's only qualified to teach, not discipline. I think as parents our children should not be afraid to come to us and talk to about what's happening at school or with life and we r reminded on a daily basis to love and protect our children. What's going to happen if the teacher takes it too far and ends up hurting the child? I don't know about u or where u come from but here in the US or at least in TX abuse is not going to be taken lightly. If a teacher does that then that teacher needs to be evaluated and investigated thoroughly because is she put a bruise on her, who is going to say where it came from? Then it's going to be reported that I did that and I never lay hands on my kids in that form or manner. The teacher should go to the right ppl and voice her say or whatever and deal with it that way, no try to take things in her own hands,that isn't the smart way.

Its not a really good idea for discipline sake. Haven't they banned that already?

I do not agree with any teacher or person at school to hit children. They are not the parents so they have no right to do that. I think teachers now are having way too much say in children's lives. Parents are taken out of too much when it comes to school. I think it is stupid! Parents are parents, the teachers should not have so much say...
