BOYBAND! OMG... Just suddenly remembered. When I was in High School, I did (for once) got crazy over boybands. Mention all of the boybands that you know, but I still love the U.K. boyband Blue. I have on my Spotify account their album. I remember way back I bought those cassette tapes and play them (since there's not that much pirated copies before, therefore I am forced to buy original ones) and I usually play them on the background as I work on a project for 3 sections (yes, 150 peeps of them, for one class has 50 person and I am paid for doing their written reports way back before) Just here right now in the office, we have our own speakers as we tide away our work routines throughout the shift with our songs on hand, whether it is on our phones, mp3 players or online streaming accounts. I tide away mine with this great album that they have last 2003, lol. nothing way back; just wanted to work with a great, stress relieving background songs. Besides, it gives me that empowering feeling like high school days as I don't mind how big the pile of work is; as long as I'm going to earn my moolah and gain recognition afterwards, that's fine. Kinda what you've called "living with a certain routine" that keeps you going ever since. As one of my workmates tried to borrowed my speaker, he tried playing his lists; it was all rock. I was also relieve to hear but some of my office mates find it disturbing and offensive (LOL, offenses?) And oh well, we didn't mind. He played some songs then gives back my speaker and work again feeling relieved. What's you background music in the office? Can you tell what's on your playlist right now and why do you find them stress-releasing. Thanks for sharing.

I have this one fun-loving office mate, he plays this usual program on our local radio, even if it is a strict English policy in our office, that gay still plays the program. This local radio program has this DJ's joking around almost any situation that a usual citizen here in the Philippine has, from love problems to financial sticky situations and such, and it finds us also relaxing. Somethings laughter is the best medicine; but we can't just die from too much laughing yet. LOL. In between the radio show they're playing the usual pop songs and some latest dance hits that you'll hear in Billboard top 40's or 50 something, and it maybe your typical local radio, too. In the end, everyone in the office is texting; or sending text messages of those jokes that they have heard on the radio, pretty much stress-releasing routine in the office as we tide away throughout the entire shift. Thanks for showing your interest and participation here in this topic and happy mylotting :D

Hi there. Usually, in medical field jobs, for me, I choose more of the christian and worship songs cause we really find it comforting and assuring that with that kind of music, we know God is with us. If something happens towards our patient, we can easily remember by listening to that kind of background music we call up to God and pray for treatment and fast recovery and nothing so critical will happen..

I agree on you. I have a co-worker before who plays songs like that. Some may not get it but they're just keeping the songs playing as it is, since I believe my co-worker is just having great time while renouncing her faith. You also got a point back there, of course God is everywhere we go. I love it, too. I find it comforting. If I would like to get "in tune" of my faith, that's one way to unwind in the working place, too :) Thanks for sharing your thoughts about what songs do you usually play in the office and happy mylotting more about it :)

It's usually boring sleepy music, they dont want to offend the customers. When Im at my other jobs we usually listen to country music.I find any music i enjoy relaxing, and less stressful at work.
