If you are going back to school, you have most likely either began classes already or will very soon. Every year before I go back to school, I look at my schedule and make a mental list of the goals I hope to reach that academic year and what my expectations are of myself. My goals were not always just to get good grades, but sometimes they included learning to manage time/stress better, trying to make more guy friends, or even athletic goals.
I am hoping to take classes again in the spring (I am currently not enrolled), but that has not stopped me from setting "semester" goals. I am hoping to research graduate schools, take my GREs, and apply to the schools I am interested in this fall. Then in the spring, I want to get a head start by taking a class that I find interesting at a local college.

Sounds like a good idea :) I'm only taking 1 class this year and I'm hoping to take what I learn with me and be able to use it later in life.. That's my goal for this year cause I can't say I'm really to fond of the class. Lol. I hope you can find the time to balance out everything that you need to balance. :)

Yes, it was a good move for a student where we must continue to seek knowledge without stopping. If stress comes maybe it's a natural thing. But remember not to forget the time to rest because it's not a good idea, if learning is not diberangi by health.

Okay, this may sound like I am joking a little bit, but I am being somewhat serious about this.
My School Year Resolutions:
1. I promise to do my best to read everything that is given to me.
2. I promise to keep myself as stress free as I can. (I need to do this.)
3. I promise to get great grades. (Good is not really good enough in Grad School.)
4. I promise to balance my work, social life, school, and my doctor's appointments to the best of my ability. (This I also need to do.)
5. I promise to organize study groups if it is necessary.
6. I promise to talk to my professors about having TESL for an emphasis as well as Rhetoric and Composition and Literature. (My major at the moment is English- Rhetoric and Composition and Literature, but I also would like to add TESL to the mix.)
7. I promise to submit as much of my literary works to as many different publishing groups and literary groups as I can.
8. I promise to write those papers on "The Hunger Games".
