I've never heard of this, but I think it means that you should eat watermelon alone by itself. The reason is because watermelon doesn't really mix well with other food when you eat them one after another. Watermelon just tastes refreshing enough by itself.

I hear this from those health conscious individual. Those who practice vegetarianism. When they say this they meant never mix it with other fruits.

Are you saying that we should eat watermelon by itself? I don't know anyone who believes this is necessary. Watermelon is a popular ingredient and salads and desserts and is often combined with other foods.

percent of the garbage thats dished outon the net u nless it comes from a health professioonal.I ha ve mixed w atermelon with other foods all m ylife and I am 85 so it cannot be harmful at all. one
shou ld not believe everything thats said on the net at all.

I haven't heard that before, too. But I guess, those people who are try to lose weight would choose watermelon over other fruits because of a watermelon contains about 6% sugar and 92% water by weight. As with many other fruits, it is a source of vitamin C.
