I feel a little unnatured when I find a surveillance camara staring at me.

Today, we can see the surveillance camara every where, in the store, shopping mall, super market, office building, hospital, ... in the public place. I always feel a little annoyed and unnatured when I realized there is a surveillance camara staring at me though I understand it is just for the management or safe of the public place. So what about your feeling under this kind of surveillance in public place? Do you think it is a nature thing?

I also feel little awkward for the first time but I realize that it's for everybody's welfare. I just encourage my self to feel like natural and me myself in any public area. Now I used to it.I'm no longer feeling like the way I felt before.

it is pretty obvious to feel indifferent when you have cameras all around you as u feel like u are being treated like major suspect or a criminal. It makes u completely uncomfortable and you feel like breaking all those cameras out there and leave that place at once. It is like trespassing the privacy of the people. What say?

Dear friend, thanks for your response to my message! Yes, I sometimes have the same feeling like being treated like suspect. But of course it is just our subjective mental reaction. We have to understand the surveillance camaras are really needed for safe and better public management. Though we feel a little uncomfortable, we just try to ignore it. We are aboveboard and just do what do what we shall do ... let it go ...he he!

I really don't mind having surveillance camera in a shopping mall, bank, and other public places. As long as I don't see my very own face, then I really don't care. I don't like looking myself at the mirror, more so in front of a monitor. So if it's just a camera, I really won't be minding it and I still act naturally. Doesn't bother me at all.

Well - as long as they won't put it in the public toilet too . lol
I never met any survellance camera in the street - which I really need to since my car has been attacked by some drunken men a couple weeks ago in the night.
But I admit that sometimes I feel uncomfortable when there is a surveillance camera staring at me , I just feel like I couldn't enjoy my own privacy time while I am in a public area.
But don't get me wrong , it wasn't the uncomfortable feeling as I have done or I would do a crime thing =D

Dear Friend , thank you for your response to me! Yes, I know for safe, we really need the surveillance camera in the street for the car and traffic in public area. Sorry to hear that your car was attacked . Hope you are fine now. I understand your meaning of feeling of seeing a surveillance camera staring at you.It is the same feeling like mine. Of course it is not because of doing a crime thing. He he!
