Everyone has their own idea of what success would be for them. It could be that you want a certain amount of money to feel successful. A certain job or certain material possessions also may be among the things that will help you feel successful personally. In my opinion it is a good idea to have your own personal view of success and to not base it on someone elses. We need to find in our lives what will most make us happy.
In fact, my idea of success for my life has nothing to do with almost any of those that I mentioned: money, job, material things. What my idea of success in life is for me is just to be happy. Farther down the line those things may be needed to feel happy but at the moment those aren't.
I find myself most happy when I am in the nature of our world. So it is not hard for me to gauge my success when I feel this happiness. I am not hard to please it would seem when it comes to being happy. I am glad for this because I sure don't have much else in my life right now. I am not going to worry about these things I don't have when I can be happy now and it will be my success.
I hope this makes sense to all of you too

happiness is superficial. it is caused by something. and usually, the very things that you deny yourself can be real sources of happiness. i am not saying that they are the only sources of happiness, but money, job and material things can provide you happiness. success is the very one that makes us forget where we come from. arrgghh..

sorry we are in disagreement in this subject. I don't feel like I need any of those things to be happy. I in fact have none of them. I have no money except if I make anything online and right now that is just basically a number I can't even touch because I have no bank account. I am happy a lot of the time so my happiness is dependant on nothing.
Others may feel differently and that's their perspective. Mine is different than someone else as is yours.

Yeah, this is basically the way that I look at it also. I have a few goals but I haven't reached those yet. When or if I do I will feel more successful for doing so. Not because of the things I might gain because of that achievement though.

I agree echoforever to disagree with mensab. lol I think sometimes success for some people can be superficial. They think that if they have money for a fancy car, home, etc. that they're successful. I think happiness, on the other hand, comes for non materialistic things such as friends, family, loved ones and things that make us happy and our lives fulfilled. I believe that "money can't buy happiness" either.
To me, success is when you achieve a goal. When you reach that goal, you have succeeded. With success, you may reach some level of happiness, though. I guess what I'm trying to say, is success is something you have to work at, while happiness comes naturally.

its all about how we define it ,its in our perspective, basically if we take as money or making people happy.it would be that, but ideal success is caring and living for others each moment we do

Hi,
Everyone has different ideas of success in mind. Some consider success in making money, some consider successful in love, someone consider successful in progress in business and so on. When we get success in one thing we don't get satisfied with it. Because we try to get success in other things.

So like a chain reaction we will want success in all we do! I could see that happening because it would feel good to have that success.
