Are Atheists Gonna Sue Obama Now?

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth on him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Superimposed over a picture of a birth certificate along side of Obama's picture. This is a calendar page in a gift giveaway at the DNC. http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2012/09/dnc-trinkets-include-calendar-comparing-obama-to-jesus-christ/ Is there any question to what this implies? How do you feel about it? Liberals & Democrats of the atheist persuasion? Like it that your nominee, the incumbent running for president, compares himself to Jesus? Do you want to sue for separation of church and state? Those of you affraid the 'right wingers' may set up a theocracy if Romney gets elected, does this make you worry the same about Obama?

If you did your research you would find that this is not put out by Obama. it is produced by James Hickman. Who made money off of him in 2009 as well with "2009 Barack Obama-It’s Been A Long Time Coming" calendar.

I would love to meet these Obama supporters who think he walks on water. That's all I see out of the Romney camp. The only push I have ever seen out of the Obama camp was when Oprah got involved.

Well, I guess he figures it will make money, which shows the mindset of Obama supporters. Just as Evan Thomas, editor of Newsweek, who said Obama was "like God" and floating above it all. Just like the edition that put a halo on his head. Come on, this is about the way Obama supporters idolize and worship Obama, instead of actually understanding or approving of his policies. It's so un-American, it's depressing. Hero-worship has no place in politics or government, not in America.

This did not ORIGINATE with Pres. Obama, but I'm convinced he approved it for sale. AND the Democrats BUYING it sure believe it or they wouldn't BUY IT.

Are we afraid Obama will set up a "theocracy"? I think he already has - or has attempted to. I fear for Christians and a few other religions if Obama gets re-elected. Hes's Muslim/atheist, or whatever seems appropriate to the situation. Whatever he is, he is not interested in religious freedom. This calendar reminds me of the abomination of desolation. Not exactly, but close enough.

Probably not as a) Obama appears to have nothing to do with this publication, and b) no laws appear to have been violated, unless of course Obama has a case against the calendar makers, in which case he's the one who'll be doing the sueing, if anyone.

The RNC will do anything it can to make its party look good. They started attacked Obama a handful of days into the Presidency saying he was a failure. Guess the RNC believes we are all dumb forgetful sheep who will just follow whomever makes the most noise. Not saying Obama is perfect, but he has had quite a mess to deal with. I recall reading somewhere many years ago that the economy takes several years to catch up. So a President that had a food economical term can really thank the person who came in to office before them. To be honest, I am more mad at Bush Jr than I am with Obama.

This is something that puzzles me about American politics. Both the big parties are in pretty much the same territory ideologically, but some of the grass roots activists on both sides seem to love demonising each other. It's crazy.

I guess the rest of the people did not see that. Why do people feel the need to make stuff up to discredit this President? If he his so terrible at his job then why can't the right run on the facts? I think many of us know the answer to that and that is because if they ran on the facts they would loose. So that is why they keep putting up posts like this that has nothing to do with Obama. I wonder if they ever heard the story of "The Boy Who Cried Wolf?"

The atheists gonna sue Obama now over the vendor's idolization of Obama as Jesus, trying to fix on making big buck from Democratic party supporters deep pockets during the DNC convention. No kidding ... that is funny! What crime they are going to charge him this time, desecration of the photo on son of God or feeding lies to the atheist supporters, there by violate on religion freedom of the atheists.

So i guess Obama supporters expression of a black Jesus in business suit is also a crime in the holy eye of the ACLU. It is so funny!

Well, considering that the ACLU has made Christian expression of belief a 'crime' you'd think they'd jump on this one.

That is laughable! Wouldn't it be funny if all the Dem Atheists filed suit? It must be some ploy to get the votes of those that still believe he's the Messiah. How crazy. The bible warns against garbage like this.

It is a merchant selling these at the DNC. I'm sure he's allowed to do so with a 'wink' to its content.

Is this for real. I am shocked. The implications of the meaning of this is just appalling. Any respect I might have had for the Democratic party is now gone.

It is said that this is 'not for real' but just a merchant selling at the DNC. I will repeat my suggestion to you, it is my contention that this is permitted with a wink by the DNC, so call them and ask them if they will make him stop selling these and see what they say.

Debra, This is just another indicator of just how arrogant Obama and the democratic party are. Here we have people who not only believe it should be a choice to destroy a life in the womb but also don't believe there is anything wrong with murdering a near term child through partial birth abortion and they have the unmitigated gall to quote John 3:16. Not only quote it but take it as a rally cry and pretend their idiot is a savior. It's not for me to judge but I can pray for swift judgement from the one who can. How these people can put those words beside a picture of a fool like obama is beyond me.

It's been said here that a private person made these up and is selling them. I find it no less disgusting, but MORE so. That this is being sold AT THE CONVENTION and NO ONE in charge says a word, lets it go on, and by that, endorses it. It proves to me that being liberal means that you toe the party line and don't think for yourself.
