Hi friends, Today I have no classes and it is a much needed break for me. I am so happy about it as I have got the chance to spend some time here at Mylot. I was unable to log in and post here for the last 3 days even though there was a Sunday in between as I had loads of study to do for the coming week. The other days I have long hours of class, 8 hours in college and then 1 and a half hours more in the journey to and from college. Today, the teachers have some important meeting at college and they gave us the day off. It is a welcome break and I hope to be active in the community today. Have you also got some unexpected welcome breaks like me? In the past or may be today! Do share your thoughts and happy Mylotting everyone!

Wow. Good to hear that you have a day off from school. Like you, I already experience some unexpected days off from my work. I am an online teacher and I teach Koreans via Skype. I'm not really aware of some Korean holidays and sometimes, my boss informs us about the holiday a day before it. Sometimes, it lasts for two to three days. It's really exciting to know about unexpected off but sometimes, I'd rather not to have that. Why? Because no work means no money for me. Haha. I'm used to the situation wherein most of my hours a day are being paid. :) Have a happy mylotting too. :)

Hi, Its exciting to hear that you are an online teacher. I am undergoing training to become a teacher in future but I shall be working offline. I have heard of online teaching for which Skype is required. I did not ever try it though I got a few offers in the past. I understand that you are used to earning for several hours in a day. Its really cool in my opinion. Thanks for sharing your experience with me. Was really nice interacting with you.

I thought of it but here the opportunities we are getting are all teaching online to students from the U.S. As our time zones are different, to do that I will have to stay awake at nights while it is day time in the U.S. That is why I did not think about it. Thanks for the wishes my friend. Wish you the same luck in life.

Thanks for the appreciation. I think you too can be an online teacher if you just wanted it. :) Good luck in your career. :)

Lately I have had a lot of breaks. I want the opposite. I want to be very busy again like I used to. At the moment I'm enjoying this break though. But I hope to be busy again next month. I bet you're so glad to have taken that break and enjoyed your time on mylot. It's really great to be here and earning at the same time. Hope to see you soon again.

Hi, Glad to hear you are enjoying your break now. I made the day turn out to be fruitful. I am posting here sometimes, again taking a break, reading Bram Stoker's 'Dracula' which refuses to end as a result of being a really long novel and I am also watching television. Actually been multitasking today. Other days there is hardly any time for me to do anything else after coming back so tired from college. I hope you can be really busy next month as you like it so much. Good wishes from me.

I have read the comic version of Bram Stoker's Dracula. It was more fun and not that long. But darn, that comic book was expensive.

I got one this afternoon. The news said there would be a storm coming this afternoon and my boss let us go home early before the rush hour as the wind and rain started to pick up. It's nice to get some extra time to myLot, even if it is just for short time...

Hi friend, Yeah I am really happy today to have got the unexpected leave. I spent my day fruitfully today. I am catching up on posting here in addition to reading the still unfinished story book I had started on two weeks ago. Sometimes I am watching TV too. All in all a welcome break for me. Its still raining here and this weather remained throughout the day. Hope it will be sunny tomorrow. Its exciting to know that you got a full 3 month's break at college. You must have relaxed and enjoyed during that time. Thanks for sharing your thoughts with me. Happy Mylotting

Hi, I understand how much you miss school. When I passed out last year and realized that I would no longer be meeting my friends, I was so downcast and sad. It seems an entire era would pass and never come back. Truly everyone has to move on in life and now we keep in touch primarily through Facebook and text messages; but we cannot meet and cannot sit in class together as before. In my present course I have made new friends but the classes that are taken one after the other hardly give us much time to talk and have fun. I am doing the B.Ed course and its a professional course, so the approach is much more serious here. I hope you can still keep in touch with your friends though the moments may not be relived again. Have a nice day ahead

Hi, I wish I could be always free like you. Actually I was always free for the last ten months since my last course examination got over and from this August I got busy again. This routine will be on for many months now for me. However, I will get the degree in the end which I am aiming at.You are so right my friend that when we finally get rid of the tension after the work is over, it gives a lot of joy. I have felt this a lot of times after exams just like you. Have a nice day ahead.

Motorway Service Stations in our country are run by several groups, including one called "Welcome Break". I try to use the car as little as possible, so I don't drive past one very often. However, on my last trip I think I did go in to a Welcome Break service station for what was by force of law available free of charge (Everything else in Motorway Service Stations is at inflated prices). For that reason it was a welcome break.

I woke up with a terrible headache this morning and decided to not go to work. This must have been my best decisions so far. I was able to relax, take a rest, sleep and when I started doing myLot which I haven't done for weeks or so, my headache is gone!!!I think myLot is a stress reliever :)

Hi dear! Sorry to hear of your headache but also relieved that it is gone now. Can I gave you a same pinch? This is because when I woke up in the morning I was having this dull throbbing in my head and I was horrified thinking it would be another of those terrible migraines that I get. Incidentally, I had a migraine attack two days ago though I had not been out in the sun for more than 15 minutes. It has become a problem for me since my school days. I did all - got my eyes checked, visited few doctors who gave medicines that made me stay well for few months but as soon as medicine stopped, the headaches would be back. Fortunately for me today, right now I have no headache; the throbbing subsided on its own a few hours after I woke up. We are having rains outside and the weather is cool and I am here on Mylot which you so wonderfully described as a stress reliever. Let us enjoy the day and happy Mylotting!

Thank you!I am actually going to be busy till about June next year as my course is going to finish by then. We students do have to practice and revise lessons or else there will be problems when the exams arrive. Good luck with your graduation thesis and you too have a nice day ahead.
