Feral Kittens

A feral cat had kittens in my backyard. I'm not sure what to do. Should I call a local shelter to have them taken away? The mamma cat is taking good care of them and I'd hate to do that to her. If they stay they will most likely never socialise with humans and become feral themselves. I feel like I should just let nature take its course. Any ideas?

that was a common problem in my neighborhood what we did was feed her an got friendly with her an caught her kittens an tamed them an found homes for them then the mother cat who was still caught her also in a cat trap an then had her fix animal allies done it for 25 dollars an I kept her in a kitty kennel for the 24 hours like they said to then let her out an now she is the neighborhood cat she still is kind of scared of people but she dosent run an a few neighbors try to pet her but she is the last out of 25 that ran the neighborhood we had a neighbodd that would bring them home alomost every weekend then get a new one an leave the others outside to fend for them selves an of course they became wild so like I said we started setting traps an taming them an then find homes for them the reason we got the last one fixed is she is like part of the neighborhood she she has been running wild for 5 years but try feeding them an talking calming with them I know easyier done then said an we had a secret weapon to catch ours my grandmother said i can charm a snake from a tree an my 17 year old is like me she can talk to them it takes her a few days but never fails if there is a stray out there she will talk to it a coule days an it comes to her they trust her

I would love to do that for them. My husband wants nothing to do with them so it might be difficult. I'm just afraid that someone might find them and drown them or something. Some people see cats as vermin that need to be exterminator.

hi there!
God will take care of them. Do not worry.
You could give them some food if you want to help but never give them to the shelter if the kittens would not be with their mother. They need their mom to be alive.
God bless

I believe in God too, and I've been praying that He will take care of them. I trust that He will do the best thing for them and me. I just wish I knew what that was so I can try to be prepared for it.
