There are so many books to teach us different thinks that I like reading books in different languages and also textbooks. Some time ago, I used to underline important points or words in those books to remember the part I would like to remember or to learn, some special information for me or just new words. Just underlining them with a pencil or using a yellow textmarker. Someone else has got a habit to remark important information in a book?

I also got that habit, may it be text books or pocketbooks. In my college days, my books for school have many yellow textmarker. You can really tell if that book is really well-read of mine. You are so true. When I'll be reading it again or finding a specific information, it can easily catch my eye and remember those important points especially when I'm already cramming for an exam. Even in my pocketbooks collection, I underline with a pencil those words I cannot understand and those quotes that I want to take note. It helps. Some people think it is just a mess on books and ruining them. It's just depends on one's perspective, though.

That's right, there are some people who think that underlining or marking a text destroys the book, but in my opinion textbooks are made to be studied and any system which helps to learn the context is great.
