Do you think your country/city is the best in the world?

For me.. the Dominican Republic is the best coutnry in the world. Even if it is a 3rd world country.. I love it... Beautiful beaches, greatttt people... good HEALTHY food, good music.... extremely hot all year round.... I love my country and every time I come here...i realize how much i miss it!

what a silly question. everybody like his country.and if he doesnt then he doesnt have feeling , not even to the people close to him

I do not believe is a silly question. I know many people who do not like the country where they're currently living... Plus.. if you really like your country..you'd right a little bit about it.. like why... or what things in it makes you like it... this is not just a simple yes or no question...

I have been to a few countries in my life so far... I believe every country is special and has its positives and negatives.. I love my country.. but I prefer not to compare it in terms of superlatives.. like best etc. I am from India and I love the fact that my country is unique in its own ways.. I have been to France and loved the fact that Paris has this unique blend of the old world and the latest.. where the Eiffel tower and the latest high rise both coexist.. I have lived in the US for many years and love what it has to offer me :)

Thanks.... I never meant for this topic to be comparative... I just wanted to know what each person thought of their country... I enjoy culture.. and I like knowing a little bit more about different culture.. so.. I believe this is a good way to see which country to research next.. and to learn more about... maybe visit...

wow.. wait.. my country is extremely poor.. but I dont like seeing the negative side.. i just enjoy seeing the positive side... I mean.. to be realistic.. my country has plenty of people who are not literate.. people who do not have any kind of education.. mosquitoes and bacterias everywhere... really bad traffic.. and a lot of poverty... but it also has kind people who will talk to you even if they donot know you... we also have beaches and I said before.. very beautiful beaches... so.. I guess every country has its ups and downs

Wow I really enjoyed reading your response!! Its good to hear that about Singapore... I'm glad you guys are doing so well! : ) That makes me wonder more about your coutnry and read a little about it..! : ) I don't really know much about your country... But I do know where it is located... and its Capital city.. but that's about it.. I don't remember much...
