What if We Treat Our Leaders More Like Priests Are Meant to Be?

Priests--you may recall--are simply to properly-position the holy tools, -to hear confessions, -to bless the righteous & (most of all) -to 'say the right thing to us.'
They have no power but that given them by their congregation, just like government-leaders have no power but that given by the people.
The difference: priests claim to serve the god whom their congregation serves (and spend most of their congregation meeting-time paying lip-service to that deity), while government-leaders claim to serve the people themselves (leaving EVEN MORE room for doubt that they are not just serving themselves).
So why not?

So, we give all our power to those who claim to be serving us rather than -power to those who claim to be serving Our Father?
Is that to say that government was designed based on human selfishness?

The Laws of Nature (the strong outlive the weak) pick up where Humanity (do unto others as you would have them do unto you) leaves off ... or--as comedian George Carlin said--"Nature Gets Even" (that might even be inscribed on his tombstone, if his people went to the trouble of the whole burial schmear )

That would be a good suggestion, but people today are very much corrupted by money. This is so true about our politicians. Those people that will protect us from harm are the ones doing it. How I wish that people in the government will return to God and fulfill their oath to the people. That way, we could be really proper as a country.

But there would be much temptation to mention "God" in speeches etc. and thereby throw human reason out the window (coz--when you're getting orders from God--what difference does human logic and -opinion make?)
The prime order from God to mankind was "hold dominion." It wasn't 'manage the place and send me my cut'; we "give God the glory" because a) he's Our Father & b) that glory comes with more responsibility than any human can handle.

In my own opinion, we can be truthful if the leaders in the government could act as a priest. Sad to say, the viability of having a perfect government system can not be attained with so many issues.

I don't think we want a "perfect" government-system; we want a government-system that's broken without us, like a hamster-wheel without a hamster.
With government-officials as the hamsters. That way we can't expect them to change 'the way the system is run.'

I love and pray for all our priests that forever they will do their sacred obligation being the Chosen One.
Jesus Christ Himself instituted the sacraments especially the sacrament of the Eucharist where the ordained catholic priest has the authority to officiate as he said during His last supper with His twelve apostles.
I do respect our government leaders who became a leader because of the people who chose them to lead and to serve. Priests may be a government leader which may be his rights, but his being a priest is forever whatever circumstances we should respect his being a priest.

Huh?
I'm talking ABOUT government-leaders. The Bible tells us we are all priests (i.e. we needn't go to a priest for God's judgment in a matter, when we have a direct connection to God within our own souls). Government-leaders are representatives of We the People to other peoples and their representatives (i.e. they are priests as we would be in their position).
Being a priest may be forever TO THE ONE WHO LIVES FOREVER, but to mortals it's only 'as long as you live.' Government-leaders SHOULD however act as priests act.

And they will do this by crediting the people with the victories: not "I've made the economy better," but "You've made the economy better"; not "We've captured & killed the terrorist-leader," but "You've captured & killed the terrorist-leader!"
And it all starts with one leader setting a good example ... Jason Harry Jude Hubbard for President 2016
