first impression is lasting?

do you follow your instinct? first impression is lasting... May I tell a story I know an angel face lady, so cute and innocent everybody likes love her and was impress of her appearance and the way she talk. but mind you she is a woman full of tricks :) can fool you and exhaust your living. There was also a woman who is flirty, talks loud and bit tactless but deep inside she was a feminine, old fashioned and honest person. someone can easily cry in front of you and tell lots of problems even though there's not so that you will give money to her, and the other type of personality firm and jolly but the truth she had lots of problem. What will be your impression, have a lasting first impression?

It depends on the case. There are people at times that what he did on first is lasting already especially if he repeatedly do that. But then there is also cases that my impression proved me wrong or at least I was given that person a chance then proved it in better.

For new people that we just meet, it would be appropriate to say that "first impression lasts". But when come in contact with the person, that's the time to take a deeper look on the person's personality. In my work, i often interview applicants whom by simply looking at their physical grooming, i can tell instantly that they will be hired or not. That is because its a common traits for industry to check a person's grooming if he/she can follow the industry standard. But sometimes, it can always be fooled.

Yes first impression is lasting unless you don't listen to your inner voice! What you talk about is the outside, your instinct is already making his opinion in the first 3 or 4 seconds.. what you think/feel after those seconds is your mind (you see what you like to see in combination with your life experiences your ideas, view on life, your religion etc etc).
BTW if you have a lot of problems and you are firm and jolly then you are firm and jolly. Problems have nothing to do with your attitude or the way you view life. Optimistic, firm, jolly is a character, so it's the person you see.

i used to believe that idea, when i was young when our life is at the above average financially, but when we had a lot of difficulties my impression had towards other people, im am now observe more about a person before conclude an impression towards him or her...

Actually I never agree on that first impression is lasting because soemtimes it will decieve us like what you said in two example from outside figure. Even in our feelings they said that if you hate someone or not good vibes at the first they will never them in terms of love. But we cannot tell what thier destiny which possible can be done out of our wants.

first impression does last for long. only till, you personally, start knowing that person. than gradually your thinking change.
Once you know the person very well, then you can say, what kind of person he/she is. Impression doesn't last forever. may last, if you just met that person only once. and never in your life again.
