I just heard from the radio it was 111 days before Christmas and I can hear Christmas carols in radio right now. I am very excited to do my Christmas shopping and wrapping all the Christmas presents personally for my husband, family and relatives.
How about you my fellow friends are you excited for Christmas? What do you usually do during Christmas? Have nice day!

Hello there. I'm as excited as you are. Here in our country, September means the start of our long awaited Christmas and holiday vacation and celebration. I'm already thinking of the gifts I'm going to give to those who are close to me. Can't wait to be cooking something new for the parties. I do have my hopes up that this year will be a blast and a very wonderful Christmas with my friends and family. I just wish all the things I started planning will be accomplished this year. cheers!!!

Sorry but I think you are nuts if you start with Christmas shopping already. No I am not excited about Christmas since this is not a real celebration in my country. Also I think you skip a lot of other (season) periods if you already start with Christmas.
Over here it's still summer and schools just started. Half of October we have Autumn vacation (a colourfull season let's hope there is sun and less rain). We will collect all kind of things and make an Autumn table. We have birthdays comming up, Halloween (in our own way) we have the 5th of December (St Nicolaas the biggest celebration over here), etc etc.
Christmas means to us: 2 days vacation. Pyama day and watching old movies. No rush, no need to cook, no visits, very relaxing. And the best of all, no finaical problems because of presents I need to buy and I can't afford.

Wow, that makes me smile right now
Amidst the not so good things that are happening. Disasters, high crime rate, scams, online or not. We still have a reason to smile, celebrate and be merry.
Gifts, even though small thing, can mean big.
Thanks for reminding. Advance Merry Christmas.

Wow, I think that is already near. :) I loved it when I still had a lot of time watching the news few years ago. Whenever it's already September, I loved waiting for the ending of the news program to see how many days were still left until it would be Christmas. When I was able to see that reminder on TV daily before, I was really happy and excited for the very special occasion, the birth of Jesus. I haven't heard of any Christmas songs yet. Maybe it's because I'm not listening to the radio nowadays.
I'm also very excited for the Christmas season. I would really love to take a walk in department stores to look for some prospect gifts that I would give to my loved ones. I really love giving gifts. I usually do it and I'm very happy when I would see the ones who would receive my gifts smiling. I also like it when have exchange gifts at home and even at work. I think I really love that part. I would think of some gifts to give a family member and a co-worker and they would also think of some things to give me. I would really be excited to see what they would have for me.
I'm just excited to be with my family this Christmas. Aside from giving some gifts to each other, I just love preparing some food with my family members. I really like it when we help each other in cooking. I'm really excited to do that. I'm also very excited to have our picture taking. Whenever it's Christmas, we usually take family pictures. We love printing them for our mother because she wanted to have them in her photo album. I'm also excited to see my friends on that day. Last year, I met them when it was Christmas Day. We watched a movie, ate out, sang along and just had fun being with each other. Of course, I'm also very excited to be with my boyfriend that day. I always meet him on Christmas Day. Last year, I met him outside after watching a movie with my friends. Then, we all got together. I spent time with my friends and boyfriend. I was happy because they have seen him again after some years of not having a glance on him.
I hope those things would happen again next Christmas. I hope I would be able to give and receive some gifts. I hope I would be with my family, friends, and boyfriend. I'm already excited to have a great time. I think I will be very busy again this Christmas Day. I think it would really be fun. I hope I could go to church that time so my Christmas would really be complete and worthwhile. Merry Christmas in advance! Happy myLotting. :)

I love christmas, there are always things that I end up buying for the family that I had not planned to buy, lol.
I tend to save money all year around and get shopping vouchers so I have money to buy all the things that we want need as well as the list of things that the children have chosen.
I have to get most of my things out of one or two shops and ask people to collect them for me, as I am not well enough to get them.
My friends do all the wrapping up for me, so I do not have to worry about it and also my mum has all the gifts hidden at her house, so none of my children find them, lol.

I am really excited about Christmas this year because it is the first one in my new home. I will be starting to work on my crafts this weekend and hope to be able to sell some of them this year. I cannot wait to start on my craft projects and set up my Christmas budget. I know the day after Thanksgiving I will be setting up my tree and decorating the house. As December approaches I will be baking cookies, fudge and candy (I will have to look up sugar free recipes because Randy is diabetic). I love buying gifts and wrapping them. This year I will be buying material so I can make a stocking for Randy and the three cats.

When I was a kid, Christmas is an event that I really look forward to and I do my own countdown. Just thinking of all the gifts that I will receive would really excite me even more.
But now that I am older, and of course there are times that money would be a problem, I worry of not being able to make my kids happy during Christmas time.

This reminds us what the Christmas season really is: a celebration of the fact that--though things are cooling down and darkening--the sun is also scheduled to 'rise' (i.e. tho its arc is riding lower in the sky, its arc is scheduled to start riding higher-&-higher starting on December 25).
I'm not particularly excited for Christmas. I mean, I'm glad it's coming soon; but my life is a series of parties, and Christmas is just another one.

On one hand Christmas still feels like it's far away, and on the other it's so close again! It's hard to believe another year almost passed! It goes so fast. I love Christmas though, and I'm excited for all the festivity, lovely decoration and yummy foods that will be around during that time again!

I am not yet excited for Christmas - it still feels pretty far away. Some of my friends have mentioned starting their Christmas shopping, and I guess I should start, but I'm still trying to think it's summer.
We usually have family dinners and a few parties - it's a lot of fun.

I have never been really deep into Christmas just for the little ones I loved to see them happy. yet I have seen so many kids do with out things it has made me sad at times. . however many people being happy is a great thing and at Christmas I mostly enjoy the getting together and just enjoying each other company. Everrything so high now, gas prices high and alot of enjoyment has took another direction. a big smile gets everyone through ...

I think it is time to save for the Christmas. 111 days is almost 1/3 of a year cycle so I should say it is not the right time to worry about presents to your near and dear ones.
Rather enjoy your day today..
Cheers
