Jerry wants the cards not the money

So what Jerry really wants are the cards making up the historical dead man's hand. But he would probably take the money although he might not give them the cure for the money. Sam and McBain have found the cards but what else is in Luke's safe? Sam seemed a little startled by whatever it is.
