I know its probably an unpopular post but its a discussion we should all have...I have seen so many family just fall apart even if there is a Will prepared... Its a conversation that only needs to be discussed once with all family members while you are alive...and after you are gone its a done deal... When I tried to have this conversation about my death with my daughter she did not want to have it but I did convince her to "lets talk" Have you had that discussion...

this is not an unpopular discusion as you can see.i dont have such discussion before but i know my family will respond as your sister did.the separation will is due to greed for wealth.if true love exists then no matter what will is htha family will remain together.you can find such families.

My mom and dad have not talked to me and my siblings about it. but there was one time, out of the bkue, my mom showed me where are the important documents are "just in case". i was teary eyed, but didn't let her see me that way. i was just not comfortable when I heard her say it.

I can understand Hatley...just what you are saying but I am not only talking about a WILL, even the burial of a parent/ family member should be discussed... It good you are really quite healthy at 85, May God continue to bless you and your son...How is his knee doing, by the way??

It is not occasionally done in a formal set up, we talked about it in a light conversation.

The post was made for awareness,,,it wasn't a post about where one have the conversation it was just that the con= versation was discussed...I am not sure what you mean by " not occasionally done".
