For many years now we drink only distilled water. But I remember when I was like 9 years old we go to the mountain each week to fetch drinking water. Its a natural spring water and its very cool water and same sweet taste also.
I know many will say water does not have taste but our spring water has.
But that's decades ago.
Now that we are living in the city we only drink distilled water or mineral water.
I'm just wondering which is much safer or better to drink. distilled or spring water.

Its really good to drink natural spring water especially if the source of the water is clean and not yet disturb. Problem right now is that theirs just too many forest that is cut off and in farm many now are using pesticides and herbicides that's contaminate the drinking water.

Hi,
I think spring water and distilled water both are pure water. We always drink tap water. We don't drink distilled water. We don't have problem of water. But when we go outside the house then we drink distilled water. Spring water is sweet to taste.

In our country tap water is not drinkable. I guess if you going to boil it for 30 minutes or more to kill germs, bacteria and viruses. But I don't think its can eliminate bad elements that can be found in the water.
I think its still best to buy distilled water. At least you know that its safe. Especially if you have babies and small children in your house.

We also used to drink spring water because our land was blessed with a spring. But then a lot of people started building houses near the spring and somehow it's not as pure anymore. We now buy mineral water. I think mineral water is better than distilled water because in distilled water (like Absolute)all forms of chemicals are removed (not just the impurities). Our bodies need certain minerals found in water (although they should be very minimal). Be careful with the spring water because our environment is not as clean as before. Besides, a friend told me that sweetness could mean there is bacteria. I'm not sure just how correct that statement is.

That's true. Spring water is not as good as its use to be. We are buying distilled water not mineral water. Its because the longer you store a mineral water sometimes its has some smell. Unlike if you have distilled water even if you don't drink that water or store it in a month its does not chance taste and it does not have any smell.
