Its ironic that we hear news almost every day that theirs a police who fire his gun indiscriminately. Theirs also some report that police rape a woman inside the precinct. And also theirs some robbery that is done by police.
And all of this for majority of the public seems normal.
But when a police does his home works theirs a lot of criticism.
Like for example theirs a police check point and theirs a car without plate number that speed away and theirs a chase. When this car without a plate been cornered the police surround them and of course aim their gun to the occupants of the car since this policemen don't know who they are dealing with.
Guess what happen after two days?
Those police who manned check point and chase those cars with no license is now under dismissal proceeding simply because those people who is in the car with no plate file a case of attempting murder simply because those policemen chase and aim their gun. Even though this policemen never fired a single shot!.
Now do you think if you are a policeman you going to do your duty still?

In my personal opinion, i think media would make more money and there would be more viewers in news like these, it's simply what people want to watch, I don't know but perhaps people won't be so interested in watching policemen doing good deeds.

It is a case to case basis. If the policemen didn't do anything, I guess the truth will prevails.

The truth well prevail. But since we are living in the Philippines I guess once a case is filed its going to take years before you can clear your name. At the main time while you have a case you are in a floating status and you don't know if you going to get a pay or not.
