How can this happen? This is not my first job, not even full-time!! And I just graduated. Where did I get this extreme nervouness? People laugh me about that! Maybe just because my probable future boss said that there would be a two-day probation to see if I would be qualified or not? Or I just take this part-time-job-in-a-toymaking-shop too serious? Although I have no knowledge in toymaking area or sales, I really like this job cause people there are nice and the environment is open and I hope I can stay there. But they said we still gonna watch you for several days really freaks me out. Did we just have an interview and I happened to pass that? I'm so scare that I might lose this job. Before, two times, I didn't pass the probation which I believe that was not the right job for me. And also I took things too serious and usually I failed instead. So I'm really worried if this time still be the same, that is, I want it badly and indeed I screw it again? Can I somehow reach the state that I don't give a damn if you want me or not, I'm good enough to be capable of all kinds of jobs? Here, really need some help, thanks.

Hey Mate, take a chill-pill and just relax. Its a job and no one is going to hang you for anything. Just take care of few things like-
1. Pay respect to everyone and be nice to them. Greet them with with a nice smile when you get in. Like Good Morning Mr.Hudson!
2. Be a good listener. Listen carefully what your seniors or Boss is saying.
3. Realize your inner feelings and say to yourself "I can do it !" This will give you an inner power to learn things and will increase your confidence.
4. Nervousness comes when you think about others. Like you must be feeling that people will laugh if you make a mistake or so. This feeling only comes when you are new to a place with unknown people. So, try to mix with the people there. The best way to do it is to talk to them. Keep talking to them as like they are your friends. Ask for suggestions if you are confused with anything. The more you will get closer to them, the more you will lose the nervousness.
5. Never be rude to anyone. Be attentive and cheerful. If you will appear yourself as tensed and scared... they might make you more scared. So keep a smile on your face always.
90% of nervousness can be reduced just by smiling and communicating with people. This is what my personal experience says. I hope you will realize your inner power and be confident enough to get out of this very soon.

Woah seems that you have some real problems. I'm sure that the "probation" is just to make sure that they aren't hiring any idiot who doesn't even care about his job. Just relax and try to enjoy it. I'm wondering though, this is your first job so you just graduated from high school. What are you going into in university?

Yeah, I have, I always know..no need to remind me of that..well I think you explain this "probation" well:) This is not my first job, just I never tried this kind of job before, and I really don't like the feeling that I am observed, alos the fact that I have to impress boss to get this job, feel pressure..probably because of the lack of experience.Besides, I want this job, I just can't accept the worst case. And first time I want a job badly...

I might be nervous myself too, because somehow it is new environment, and new place. Once you get used to it, you will be okay. Everything has first time. By the way, congratulation on your new job, and hopefully you will pass the probation test. Just do the best you can, be yourself, and work on it.

Don't pressure yourself too much. just relax and do the best that you can. you are in a new environment so feeling a bit nervous is nirmsl. but instead of focusing on how to be perfect, be on the guard of giving your best and raise up your confidence. don't worry! everything is gonna be alright.

It is always natural to be nervous when starting a new job. There is some added pressure here because of the short probation period and the fact that you will have to really impress during that time, but you should not worry.
The worst that can happen is that you come out of the two days without a job. If you go in with a can-do attitude then it should not be a problem. It also matters not whether you have experience in toy sales; they would not have made you an offer if they had not seen a spark of something in you.

Just relax. As a new employee they would surely brief you on your duties and responsibilities. Just listen to instructions carefully and take notes if needed. If there is something that you could not fully understand don't be afraid to ask for further clarification and assistance as this is better than presuming you already know but get mixed-up upon actual performance/application. Good luck.

Don't be nervous, my friend. Being so, would not make you good in your job, because it can make you commit mistakes if ever.
When you report to work, just be attentive enough in the orientation. It helps that you take notes in a notepad, so when the day ends, you can review them in the evening so the next day you can do your job well.
Be just confident my friend. Your office mates can help you if ever you have questions , remember that. Just be friendly with everybody.
