Are the FUD around the impending sale of expertscolumn justified?

There seem to be quite a lot of anxious writers in Expertscolumn at the moment after hearing that the site is up for sale.
Do you think that the fear and anxiety is justified? It is natural to fear the unknown but in this case what should the writers do? Should they continue to write on the site or wait and see?

Good day Strovek,
I am not yet a member of ExpertsColumn as I just stick for only one writing site at the moment. As far as I know, if the site is for sale, for sure, there will be a changes in their Policy. And, this will covered the payout distribution as well. With regard to your query, perhaps, try to deal with the admin so you can be able to do your next step to be taken.

It is good to stick to one writing site until you build enough readership. However, it depends also on your objective for writing. If it is to earn then you might need to explore from time to time.
I will have to wait and see since the admin/owner will likely not know anything at this point.

I don't write for expertscolumn.com but I have written for sites that change hands. From those experiences I would assume that there will be some changes made, although not necessarily immediately. It will take some time for the new owners to sort through things and make some decisions. If I were writing for the site, I would continue, at least until the sale is made and the new owners begin to make changes. Not all change is bad, so the bottom line is "wait it out then make a decision."
