Did it ever come to your mind that a certain school year seems to be for your child? I mean, like she is winning every competition she'd join or like it is her time to shine in school. For me, I think that this year is for my daughter. In every battle, she took, it seems that something is paving her way. Like for the journalism quizbee in her school wherein the winner would represent the school in Vigan and would be given all the financial support needed. At one point, she landed 5th but the quizbee was done again for the 2nd time because there are proofs that the first four was caught cheating. Then, on the 2nd round, she got it and went to Vigan. The competition in Vigan is a national competition whereas she landed 3rd in news lead writing. She went home to receive again a champion medal for poster making and yesterday, she was told that she will represent the school again for a drawing contest. I am very happy for my daughter and is wishing that she will succeed in academics too. I am eager to find her rank for the 1st grading period.

You must be very happy and proud of your daughter's achievements. I know I will be if I had such a daughter. You are indeed very lucky. It's not just about this year being the year that's really for her. I think that your kid is really talented and has a long way to go. Congratulations and I hope she continues to excel. Just always be there for her to support her. Maybe she deserves a treat?

Hello penrockerchic... Yes, I am very proud of her. Finally, she made a name in her school. Though she is a consistent honor student, she was not actually been the first choice. But now, I think, she had proven her worth. Maybe I had given her a good treat in Vigan, she really enjoy herself there and it would be an experience that she would remember.
Thank you very much...

Hello fellow mother... We are very fortunate that we both have children that excel in academics and extra-curricular in schools. Nowadays, I have seen a lot of children that are spending their time with outings, nightlife, boyfriends, online games and other things that are not worth of their time. Yes, their achievements are our trophy as a parent and I'm hoping that they would succeed through college. Thank you very much...
