what triggers a person to fall in love

Basically when i was in love,there was some kind of feeling within me that says that tis girl is the one.So start loving,hanging out,calling and the normal facts.But it did not lasted.Then i came across my wife,who i fall in love and married.My question was the first indication was wrong and why i was triggered to fall in LOVE.

I think what triggers people to fall in love is seeing something special in a person. Maybe something they didn't expect, or something that is very important to them. For example, common interests, political views, views on religion, etc.

I think most people knows the feeling of what you experienced. Based on my experience, I easily fall in love with funny people, I like it when a girl have a pretty smile and a beautiful laugh, I like it when she can tell me a lot of stories so our conversation wont die down. In your case and yes it happens, people especially males happened to be thrilled when in "courting" stage, but when you are both in the relationship and things go smooth and "boring" most guys feels that they are no longer in love and seek other females to feel that lost "thrill" again.
