Do you make money with paid to promote websites?

Just yesterday, I searched for a legit website that actually pays for promoting their website. I started to use paid-to-promote.net and posted some banners and links in my blog and also advertised the unique link that I was given on a paid to click website where in I get to advertise for free. Paid-to-promote.net pays $1 to $8 per cpm. Yesterday I have accumulated about 100+ clicks and earned just a cent. I am wondering if anyone of you has ever tried this website? According to the reviews they said that the site is paying. If not, what are the other paid to promote websites that you know? I want websites that are accepted by PTC because it is so easy to get hits to your link from them. I have tried adf.ly and adfoc.us. However, they are not allowed in PTC websites because they break frames so I don't get much hits from them.

i have just checked the site. there is no much information about them, no terms and conditions, no Privacy policy, no FAQ, Just login, join and a contact email, anyone can create such site. i won't risk my payment email id, which such sites. i don't know if it pays or not. but looking at the site. i would definitely not join it. Thanks for you response! I hope I can really find an easy way to earn online such as earning just by bringing traffic to your website.
