They said forbidden are beautiful and exciting. Lotters , do you think a forbidden love will last for a lifetime ? Me , i can say yes it will , depending in the commitment of the involve. What's your opinion about this ? Share please..

Please enlighten me. What is a "forbidden love?" From the replies, which all appear to come from Asia, it seems they understand what you mean, so I assume this is a common concept there. But here in Australia, "forbidden love" has some pretty nasty overtones, undertones, and descants. Somehow I feel you are not talking about them. There is a cultural gap here, and I am genuinely curious as to what that difference is.

Thank you, but I'm still a little unsure of the meaning of what you said, as to why that should be "forbidden". Here we would simply say what you said, right people, wrong time, but there would be no thought of forbidden. For us "forbidden" would mean, depending on circumstances, a homosexual affair (happily becoming less forbidden) or an incestuous relationship between close adult relations, e.g. brother/sister, parent/child. Quite a different issue, as I'm sure you'd agree.
The only thing I can guess at is that you might be talking about people in love but married to others, or perhaps even falling in love with someone your parents did not choose for you.

All my life, I have been in forbidden love. That is according to the society. Well, not all the relationships went good. But in my current forbidden love, I am way too happy and I know I am with the right person. There is no issue between us. But yeah, some of my friends frowned upon me. One even stopped talking to me. I don't care about this though. According to them, my love is forbidden because me and my boyfriend don't come from the same ethnicity and our religions are not same. What they do not understand is that our future goals and values are alike. We are too comfortable with each other. That is between him and me. I don't think my those friends will ever understand that.
I guess the society worries too much about what another person does in his or her private life. At the end of the day, if we listen to them we will find ourselves doing everything to please them. What looks forbidden sometimes actually turns into a treasure. But of course, I would still think that if a girl falls for a criminal she might end up ruining her life. It is really important to use the head a little bit. Love is not always blind.
I saw forbidden love become success many times. In my family, it is a very common thing. My mom hates it though. She still believes in doing things to please the society.

Divine , i love and admire your views. Yes this world is a world wherein what matters is what other people will say. It's a world full of judging eyes.You have to be like this , because you are expected to be like this. Living in the shadow of others. Why it is like this , when we should be free to express and to live life the way we wanted but of course still abiding society's laws.
Love is a divine thing , a mystery that only God can fully understand and am so sure in that forbidden love , it has rationales which can never be understood by us human , its beyond our compression and understanding and in which only God can understand its pure intentions.

Forbidden love doesn't mean always that some parties are hurt , as this is the usual concept , It is a relationship between right people but in wrong time.

What exactly is a forbidden love to your opinion? There are many kinds of forbidden loves. Perhaps it will last forever if you have to work harder to get what you want/love.. but at the same time there are plenty of people who only love that love more because it's forbidden. They (still) are like little kids: what is forbidden attracts more.. as soon as they have it (what happens to most men) it's not interesting anymore and they go hunt for something else. So I quess if it comes to it there is no difference. Allowed or forbidden, equal chances.. it all depends on the persons involved.

Yes , i agree with you ! Allowed or forbidden it depends on the iindividuals, what is important is their commitment and sincerity and they are not doing a thing which would be condemning.

Forbidden love will give more pain. Love is just a part of life, if our beloved person is not interested with us as well as ignored our love, we must be sportive forget about our love and concentrate with other things. But some persons are very much strict and sincere with their love, they don't have the ability to forget about their love even though they ignored them.
Some persons think this kind of one side love will give excitement and they can live their life with the memories of their beloved persons, but this kind of activities are not comfortable in practical life. Really forbidden love is not a beautiful or exciting thing, it is a great curse. If the person is sincere in his/her love and the beloved person ignored the love, then they must try their maximum to win over their heart with their activities. Don't force your lover to love you, since it is not a forcible thing.
Real and sincere love don't have any end and it will stay in our heart forever, even though our love is a forbidden one. But thinking a lot about this ignored love and spending our time without any activity is not a good thing, we must avoid the unwanted thoughts and concentrate in our work and divert our self to get progress in our life. Forbidden love will last forever, but thinking about it will waste our life.

It is not a one sided love , it just an affair against human eye. We live with compulsions .It is a relationship that happen with a right people but in a wrong time. But with love ,mutual understanding they have , nothing was impossible , they're getting stronger each day and will be there for each other for life.

It might last a life time as long as nobody is affected by that forbidden love. But, I think that's too impossible right? I think it will just last if the two persons involve would be strong enough to stay forever. Even if the trials seems to be so hard for them, if they love each other, they have to hold on. Then that's the only time it will last a lifetime. Just my POV. :)

Having a lasting forbidden love depends on the involved.No matter how high maybe the tide , if relationship is very strong , it won't be eroded.it will stand the test of time.
