DID YOU KNOW? Dining with friends can make you fat..

Dining with friends can make you fat, it could be bad for those on a diet as it tempts you into eating unhealthy dishes from the menu.. Eric Robinson, a psychologist, believes a person tends to pick up bad eating habits from friends they spend too much time with__you become a part of this vicious follow_the_rules cycle...!;-)

Ha, I agree. If anything, I find eating together with other people tempts me to eat more or try out new stuff (which I might eventually get addicted to). It's safest to eat alone, but hey, where's the fun in that? :) Best is to be strong - have some willpower. Eat with friends, but don't overdo anything. Of course it's fine to make exceptions, but not weekly.

I also agree with you if we eating together with friends or family members then we eat more than daily and if eat alone then eat less.

I think that is bound to happen. When we dine with friends, all our focus would be on chatting and in midst without knowing, we keep eating. We forget about our diets and try whatever is available. this can indeed hinder our diet schedule. But I would say, once in a while you should dine out with friends. There is a lot of fun involved and may be for one day, you can forget your diet.

Hi danish112, I agree because i gain lots of weight when I always going out with my friends few years ago. We always eating outside and most of the foods are unhealthy and lots of fats. Now it hard to lose weight and back into shape again. I preferred now to stay at home and cook my own food which is more healthy than going out with my friends.
